Beergarden Forst Schenke by Kleckerklotz

Description
Hi guys and girls,

finally I found sound time to make this asset. It's a half-timbered inn or restaurant with a beergarden attached. It's inspired by a real building in Leipzig Germany from the late 19th century, which is like 80% what you can see. Handmade textures. Expept the doors, for which I was too lazy (https://www.textures.com/). I used some fences from Titan. He has really cool stuff. Check him out too.

Technical info, for everybody who cares about.

Level 3 Commercial 4 x 3

Polycount: 1823 Faces
LOD: 150 Faces

Textures 1024 x 1024 px
Diffuse Map
Specular Map
Illumination Map
Normal Map
Alpha Map

LOD 128 x 128 px
Diffuse Map

Hope you like it. If you do, leave a like and fave. I would appreciate it. Have fun.

This looks great! Good job.
Ist es zufälligerweise der Biergarten bei den Schrebergärten hinterm Sportgymnasium?
Oder verwechsele ich es?

Don't you worry, I won't listen to you :):)
Still that's a good start :)
I'll see how it goes with my simply building, i may turn it into a prop, then go through other stages.

@Strechnitz: Thanks. I try my best to make more stuff. :)
@macluk: LOL. Don't just do what anybody says. Find your own way and try to have fun with what you do... :)

Wow, a great looking model! Dare I say welcome back? 😁 I look forward to using this in my new kurpark.

yeah I'm hoping it would get a lot easier ;)
yeah i decided to do a simple box with a roof maybe, and maybe a simple chimney.

Yeah true. But once you've have an idea of things, everything becomes a little easier. Just don't give up. That applies to everything in life. For 3D modelling and texturing, I would suggest start small and challenge yourself with each new project. Don't make your factory first. The work is probably overwhelming. Make a prop first, with a diffuse and a specular map only. Learn UV-unwrapping, texturing and get to know the hurdles the game engine brings. When you finished the prop, make a small house, with a little bit more difficulty. Try an alpha or a normal map. And so on. The golden rule in art and design is to stay curious. Your projects should be exciting, but if you know it's too big split the tasks. And then get to it step by step. If you saw my first projects, you would laugh your head off. Never ever give up... ;)

I would argue that one.
I'll give it a try again but it's more like a try and error than having any guide and advice available.
