Uh, wow. Never knew these existed. Supremely rad.

It looks like it's made out of mylar with a thin paper product backing; the mylar likely would peel off if Ekees wasn't careful.

Personally, I think Ekees should rent it out to supermodels now that 80's fashions are becoming stylish again.

@koala fritz Yes, it's a thin film. It's meant to be costume piece. I'm sure it would not block UV in a real test.

I really would like to know what material this is made from. If its as flimsy as ekees says, then it's probably simple, translucent packing foil for presents and the like. celophane in other words and basicaly useless in terms of protection (you'd lower light ingress wearing this, increasing pupil diameter and collecting more harmfull UV light).

For some reason Vic Rattlehead comes to mind.

Those glasses are pretty damn cool! Wish I could get one of those.
