Found both, at separate times, in my garage; apparently abandoned by their mothers.
The first taught my 2 Dachshunds how to properly respect a distinguished feline
A month ago I lost my best friend too. 18 years he was, and he was the most loving, caring cat you could ever meet. I guess we both lost a piece of our soul, but we gained a piece of theirs in return because we gave ours to them.
Still have his two sons to care for, sweet things, but it's not the same, not by a long shot, but they help, quite a lot in their own way.
So, stay loving, my friend. Love conquers the demon.
I still miss Scooter.
I love, and I'm commited. I don't trivialize love. It's an obligation, as much as it is, joyful. "I love you" carries So much responsibility to 'show up' for.
Homer however, is now reaping all the tummy rubs and snacks(although he is now on a diet), and Love and attention I can spend on him and Duchess, Lyndas little dog.
Thanks to Everyone who this touched.
Loss is a common bond with good hearted people. Your support while I recovered from my loss, continues. Homer says," I love you", to Everyone, for welcoming him into our little part of the world. He's my boy now and my lap is where he thinks he should be.
He loves me; I couldn't ask for more.
