Tor Zirael
Tor Zireael in Ancient Language, is a place that nobody is aware of apart from the Aen Elle. It is a tower that contains many magical portals through which it is possible to travel through the worlds. It is considered legend by many people, except by those who have actually visited it. Among them is Ciri, Vysogota, Vilgefortz, Geoffrey Monck and Buyvid Backhuysen. It is located on the north bank of Tarn Mira, a clover-shaped lake in the Centloch region.

Ciri enters the elven world ruled by Oberon Muircetach, king of the Aen Elle through a portal located in this tower.
Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon (alias CIRI)
Cirilla Fiona Elen Riannon (known as Ciri or the Lion Cub of Cintra) was born in 1251, probably in Belleteyn. Ciri is the princess of Cintra, daughter of Pavetta and Duny (of Erlenwald), granddaughter of Queen Calanthe and sole heir to the throne.

Ciri is one of the main characters of the Saga Witcher and appears for the first time in The Sword of Destiny, a collection of stories written by Andrzej Sapkowski.

Attention: Spoiler !: Significant plot details to follow.

The events leading up to the meeting between Ciri and the witcher Geralt of Rivia begin in the story "A Price Matter", in which it is narrated how Geralt freed Istrice di Erlenwald from a curse. Geralt made a pact with the knight according to the ancient custom of the Law of Surprise, according to which the knight gave the witcher his unborn son. Immediately after the end of the curse, in fact, Duny and Pavetta already pregnant, got married and had a daughter. Six years after his birth, Geralt returned to Cintra to take that boy tied to him by Destiny. The witcher still did not know that it was a female, however Queen Calanthe opposed with all her might and finally Geralt decided to give up the girl. Four years later, in the story "The Sword of Destiny", Geralt and Ciri met by chance in the Brokilon forest, where the witcher saved the child's life. But even then Geralt did not decide to take her with him, thus deciding to turn his back on Destiny. It was only a short time later that Ciri and Geralt met again in Lower Sodden and this time, Geralt decided not to part with her. During the siege of Cintra and the invasion of the Empire of Nilfgaard, the entire court committed suicide and Queen Calanthe died throwing herself from the castle tower not to be taken prisoner by the enemy. A Nilfgaardian cavalry, Cahir Mawr Dyffryn aep Ceallach, attempted to capture Ciri who instead managed to escape and wandered into the kingdom of Sodden. Finally he reunited with Geralt who this time decided not to leave her anymore. The events are narrated in the story "Something more".

Geralt led the little girl to Kaer Morhen, where with the help of Triss Merigold he started in part witcher training (but not the mutation).

When a riot broke out on Thanedd Island, on which she was in the company of Geralt and Yennefer, Ciri managed to escape through a magical portal and was teleported to the Korath Desert, in which she wandered alone until she fell unconscious. It was found by a band of brigands, the Trappole, sent by the prefect of Amarillo to look for it and capture it. The gang led Ciri to Glyswen, where he managed to free himself and then joined the gang of Rats, under the false name of Falka. Next, a bounty hunter, Leo Bonhart, was hired by Stefan Skellen (in the service of the Emperor of Nilfgaard) to kill Ciri and by Baron Casadei to capture her alive. Bonhart slaughtered the Rats and cut off their heads, but he did not kill Ciri, nor lead her to Baron Casadei. Bonhart instead imprisoned her, beating her and torturing her to force her to fight in the Claremont arena. Ciri finally managed to escape from Bonhart. The hunter tried to retrieve it and in the clash he wounded her very seriously. However, the girl ran away and hid in the hermitage of Vysogota di Corvo, in which she was treated. Bonhart continued to hunt her down, but Ciri eventually reached Tor Zirael, crossed the magical portal and ended up in the world of the Aen Elle.

Bonhart was eventually killed by Ciri at Stygga Castle, with the help of his closest friends and foster parents, Geralt of Rivia and Yennefer and the vampire Regis.

These events are narrated in the short stories "A Price Matter", "The Sword of Destiny" and "Something More" and in the novel books of the Witcher Saga.
