Earth City Biome 2.0: No gen fix

Hi may I borrow the background for this planet for a mod I'm making? It's all about rebuilding earth, and I'd love to use it as a base.

urrrgh!!! why the hell is it still using snow and ember rain as weathers??? I literally looked in the pakfile and those weathers ARENT EVEN LISTED IN THE BIOME

Guessing a temporary fix has become a mainstay then. In any event this is an enjoyable mod regardless.

I had assumed that the official version would receive a fix at some point. It was quite a while ago that I did this and can't fully recall why I didn't make it a patch mod.
If I had to guess it would've been so that when the official mod was updated, there wouldn't be any weird conflicts with the patch mod. My server auto pulls mod updates from the workshop so if earth city biomes was updated i could have easily missed it and had both it and the patch installed at once accidentally.
I'm still busy with that work I mentioned in a previous comment, and will be for another 4 or so months.
Naturally you're welcome to convert this into a patch mod instead, but I don't personally have the time for that right now.

why did you make this a separate version instead of a patch

I'll see if I can find the time to do it soon. I don't currently play starbound and have a lot of work on, so it might take a while.
If anyone else wants to try then i'd suggest they look at adding the city planet as a satellite rather than a primary planet, as this will allow you to specify the chance of it spawning. I wasn't able to see how to do that with a regular planet.

Can we get a version of this that simply makes these planets extremely rare?
