MT Giridion Multipurpose Liquid Tanker

Descripción
BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

An advanced multipurpose Motor Tanker (MT) with 16 fluid compartments divided into 4 sections (from A to D), with a top speed of approximately
26 knots (at low gear).

FLUID MANAGEMENT DETAILS (IMPORTANT):

Each tank is filled with diesel by default, including the main tank. if however you wish to change that, the fluid spawners can be set to spawn different fluid types. If you plan on leaving some tanks empty, it is ideal to empty all tanks in an array and not at random in order to maintain balance as mentioned before. (example: empty tanks A1,A2,A3 and A4. Not B3,A2,D1 and C4. same goes when filling/spawning fluid before spawning the ship).

LIQUIDS IN THE GIRIDION'S TANKS CANNOT BE MIXED, so make sure to memorize what liquid type the tanks have when filling them externally. If empty, the tanks can be filled with any liquid.

The Giridion's main tank (approx 166000 Litres of diesel) is located at the bottom centre of the hull. This cannot be filled with anything other than diesel as it is purposely designed to be used by the main engines only.

Each section of tanks is mirrored from the centre of the ship (half the tanks face the bow, other half face the stern), with each section being farther away from the center of the hull (section A tanks are closest to the main tank, while section D tanks are farthest). The position of each tank is indicated by the markings on the main deck.

fluids are distributed equally throughout each tank in a section in order to maintain the ship's balance, and can be jettisoned (disposed) if the need requires. each tank array has a capacity of up to 63000L, dividing that by 4 gives you the capacitance of one tank in an array (15,750L).

FEATURES:

-Ballast system which keeps the height of the ship constant by filling two tanks (colour coded in blue) with water.
It is inversely proportional to the total amount of fluid in the other tanks, including the main one, hence as one tank starts to empty, the ballasts will start to fill with water equally and vice versa. When spawning the ship with empty tanks, give the ballasts some time to fill up (fluid levels can be monitored in the cabin).

-Active stabilizer which helps to nullify the ship's tilt, however if the bow thrusters are enabled, expect some roll.

-Helipad with fluid connections to all tank arrays if there is a need for refueling.

-Rear huge winch for hauling other ships.

-Both cranes are equipped with a camera and make use of a locking system to prevent them from turning when unused.

-Common Room with firefighting equipment and Crew Quarters.

-Heating systems distributed in all rooms for harsh arctic environments.

CABIN FEATURES:

This is where the cool part comes in,

-Fully digital ship monitoring system for the captain (including details such as knots, windspeed, map with current position and waypoint display, bottom clearance, battery level etc.) and co-captain (fluid level in each tank, including ballasts).

-5x3 monitor that folds out of the roof to display a fully navigatable map (also shows unexplored parts of the map), with a button to change to current position view.

-Communications desk with radar, front ship view, rear ship view and individual tank level display. Has built in radio transmission with frequency setting and a button to output voice through the ship's megaphone speakers.

Please do not copy without permission as this took a really really long time to make. Enjoy :)

simple but very effective. I like it. Possibly the most underrated tanker in the workshop!

will this be updated to the new winches? i love this tanker so much! also, would it be possible to add a system to remind you whats in which tank as far as fluids? i like parking this near the artic base as fuel storage

I love this tanker so much but for some reason I cannot transfer fuel anymore. I tried refueling an aircraft and it hooked it up but no fluid transfer. What am I doing wrong?

This thing takes really long to fill. I have a feeling there is no way to make it go faster, but do you have any ideas I could try?

set all fluid spawners to empty at the bottom of the hull @Jim

how do you set it up to spawn empty?

@Fiddle yes that is something that I was thinking of implementing in the future so it will be added eventually. Glad you like the ship :)

This is such a fantastic ship! Lovely handling and fluid tanks from my end. One question: Would there ever be a possibility that you could in the future make it so that there are both individual pumps for every tank, as well as one hold that could evenly distribute among all tank arrays? Then I don't have to manually switch at places where oil is bought, for example ^^
