Red Dead Online Money Grind

Making money in red dead online is hard,
best ways to make money in my opinion:

Online Story missions (when you complete them for the first time) up to 250$/mission, about 20$ for replay.

Treasure maps: you get them sometimes you rank up, you can grind them from gang hideouts by looting the bodies. Highest amount I've got is 150$ + a lot of XP and other loot.

Showdown series: easy 15$ for winning, easy and fast to win because there's not many players, I usually have like 4-6 opponents.

Fishing/Hunting: fishing takes time and skill, but up to 5$ for big fishes, you can use bow to fish faster, Hunt big birds like eagle or condor for easy 5$

Roles: Cost 15 Gold each, I recommend not to pick role by the amount of money you will make, since doing specialist role missions is probably going to take most of your time once you unlock them, pick the role you like to spend time with. I personally prefer bounty hunter since this role has a lot of action and you get a nice amount of money when you capture the bounty alive. After you unlock 1 role you are going to get gold much faster so unlocking another roles will not be a problem.

Bounty hunter: About 25$ for normal bounty, if you want the max money, wait for the last 1 minute or 30 seconds before turning the bounty in. Legendary bounty up to 150$.
With the new bounty hunter license upgrade the new legendary bounties on 5 star difficulty, with no deaths is up to 222$

Collector: Do not sell items individually! max money for selling a full set for madam nazar, up to 500$. All the completed sets together are worth about 4000$

Trader: 150$ for 50/100 supplies sold, 100/100 supplies 500$ for local and up to 900$ long distance delivery.

Moonshiner: 20/20 moonshine sold to Daphne, Orla or Emilio 82$, when upgraded up to 250$

Naturalist: around 50$ legendary samples sold to Harriet, up to 100$ legendary pelts sold to Gus, Best way to make money from Naturalist role is to make Legendary missions from Harriet, kill the animal, and donate the pelt to Cripps, this adds up to 60 materials which saves you a lot of time on trader role.

When I think about the cheater problem and people grinding 24h I think:
Why we still here?
Just to suffer?
Every night...
I grind collectibles...
Daily Challanges...
MONEY...
GOLD...
The minecraft friends and servers I've lost...
Won't come back...
But still: I like this fucking game.

@CarpetBombing-M.A.D- Not sure if it was all items, but last I played it was just the most expensive sets (of course) like jewelry and the coins that were randomized

They changed the collections to where each location is randomly dropping an item now, correct? I feel like that happened.

For collector role, to maximize your income and be able to run in full sets faster, when doing dailies, check what you are missing in the sets, check the online interactive map as many locations will indicate what is available there. Select and go to the locations that have what you are missing and collect the items.
Sell to madame Nazar only if you have a full set or you need to sell off some items that you are full on. I can easily get cardinal flowers so I sell them quite often.

I then repeat this for a total of 4 times and then trader delivery is ready. If this completes successfully, you can earn in excess of $1600 in 4 hours, not counting what you earn for doing all the other dailies and turning in bounties.
If I run out of things to do or get bored with the dailies, I may mix in doing my treasure maps which each will net $100 to $150 and can be done fairly fast with the online interactive map.
Do this, 4 hours a day for a week, you will be sitting on over $11,000 to spend and pretty soon you'll have everything in the game.

For overall money making, I like to get trader going, do any dailies I can at my camp and then run a moonshine mission to reduce mash price then get a moonshine shipment going then check if there are any dailies I can complete there. While waiting on those to complete, I will start bounties for the dailies and track my time with a stop watch on my phone turning in bounties at 12 minutes if possible. During the bounties, at the start before leaving, I try to do some of the collector, naturalist or other role dailies that don't take much time.
After about 3 bounties, it is time to run the moonshine delivery, about $200 to $247 if driven carefully and then resupply cripps either by doing a resupply mission or paying $20 which takes 5 minutes to arrive.

As far as roles, if you want to get all of them, start with Bounty Hunter because this is the ONLY role you will be earning gold from. Played optimally, it is possible to earn about 2 gold bars an hour. Optimally means that each bounty brought in takes between 9 and 12 minutes. It helps to spend about 5 minutes between starting the bounty and before actually going to take the bounty in. This earns you about 0.32 gold whether the bounty is alive or dead.
