This ship is vanilla and survival ready. It does use DLC blocks for aesthetic improvements, but those blocks are entirely or almost entirely not structurally necessary. If you do encounter a major issue, please, let me know so I can resolve it.

Knightmare Industries presents the MCRN Lapithes, a new battlecruiser design. Part of Knightmare Industries' latest generation of warships, the Lapithes is designed as the flagship of the fleet. With a large hangar, advanced communications array, a completely heavy armor hull, and massive firepower, the Lapithes will bring the might of the fleet down upon all adversaries. The class is named after Lapithes, a valiant warrior from Greek mythology.

The Lapithes' primary propulsion is a hybrid of Hydrogen and Ion, with all Ion thrusters for maneuvering. The ship is powered by a series of Large Reactors, and has a substantial battery backup system which it can operate on if necessary. It has an array of Jump Drives which give it a maximum jump range of 3,015 Km. The Lapithes is armed with 56 each of Gatling Turrets and Missile Turrets, 26 Interior Turrets, and 24 fixed forward firing Rocket Launchers. The hull is completely heavy armor, and has multiple layers of protection at the front of the ship, as well as reinforcing around critical ship components. A large hangar bay allows for small craft to dock, and the ship has a few assemblers and basic refineries for repairs during deployment.

The Lapithes has 17 internal decks, which include the bridge, storage spaces, airlocks, armories, marine barracks, medical facilities, the CIC, galleys, crew quarters, the hangar, and engineering. There is also easy access to the "guts" of the ship where gyros, thrusters, power and more are located.

The ship is built fully vanilla and survival ready, with an interior in the style of "The Expanse." I use a light changing script to switch around the interior light settings. Its an older script and I couldn't find the original creator. The script was updated by ColTeH for my use. There are also a few other program and timer blocks if you need them. You may have noticed already, but the ship uses DLC blocks.

I never thought I would finish this ship. It's far larger than any interiored ship I've built previously, and it took a while. This was originally going to come out as a pure KMI design, but given The Expanse S4 is coming out very soon, I ended up painting it in MCRN colors. The design is based on a non-canon 3D model I found for the Martian Raptor Class Fast Attack Cruiser, link below.
As far as I'm aware, this ship is going to be too big to be practical on any servers, but I'm sure plenty of you will be able to enjoy it in single player or with friends. I did actually say I'd be insane to build a ship this size with an interior, but here I stand, having done it. Insanity though, is doing this same thing repeatedly and expecting a different result, or something like that. Here's to the next one then, might be a bit more blue and grey this time ;).
