I think that is the same video I watched to tear down my Elite controller a while back. Bit of a pain to get into it but looking at the video, if that switch is not broken, you may be able to simply screw back in and tighten up. If not, I guess the option would be to find another second hand one for a spare part. Never knew the Elite came in a white btw, only could get the silver/black ones here. Series 2 of the Elite is worth the upgrade IMO. Everything feels more refined than series 1, but yeah that price!!

At least I managed to release the stuck trigger so that I can continue using it except with the shorter trigger movement.

Weird, I find them almost indestructible. Anyway they just released Xbox Elite Controller 2 - might be time to upgrade!
