How to basically play this game for all of the new people that want to play but dont know how to play and im here to clarify the things that you dont understand how to do when first downloading the game.

Thanks for clicking on my guide! In this guide we will discuss:

Food
Shelter
Materials

I don't want to make it too long, so lets make a list with bullet points
1: Food

Never pick up any food besides carrots or petals, the other foods result in a loss in your hunger bar maximum. Only eat other foods if necessary
Wait for food to age and enter the red section, this means it has ripened and is ready for consumption
Never cook food, this greatly decreases its nutritional value. Petals however you are ok to cook :)

2: Shelter

MOST IMPORTANT: NEVER SETTLE NEAR PIGS. They are greedy and pick up food from your chests, its not a good idea
Don't build walls
Never create a campfire, the most efficient form of light in the game are torches
Science machines become useless by endgame, and are mostly a waste of space and resources, don't build them

3: Materials

Only pickup grass and stick, as it is used to build torches. grass and stick=torches=light=win
Throw away materials you don't immediately need, no need to waste space
Go on the craigslist free section and buy free stuff and resell it on facebook marketplace

befriend spiders by ging to their nest, punch it with ctrl-f, and giving them vegetables or petals. theyll rise ur sanity. BUT this just work with the yellow ones...except when u r playing as "webbor" "webbir"? the spider guy, dont pick that douche, just befriend spiders as a human.
killing beefalos is easy, u can even unarmed, just ctrl f them, they attack u making 10 dmg, while the other ones just stare scared at u. remember , if u want to befriend them u can give them petals WHILE THEIR BUTT IS RED.
if u encounter a giant, all u neeed to do is to go close to them, and befriend them giving any meat item, that way they help u for a while. it works with dragonfly, deerclops, goose, and bearger (u need to attack bearger first to enrage him in order to befriend him. dnt ask why, is a bug i suppose)
and most important, when u start, pick AS MANY FLINT U CAN close to the spawning portal, u dont want any greedy new player to rob ur stuff! GTFO u greedy bastards find ur own flint!
