Although equipped with heavy weapons for long-range bombardment, the majority of its weapons are for defense, instead relying more heavily on its strikecraft to fill the gap in offensive options.

Went and tried to create a "carrier" for the Utalaze... Not a dedicated carrier obviously as it has plenty of weapon mounts for it to be a dedicated cruiser, but it does have a bit more fighter storage capacity than the other Utalaze cruisers.

The design itself wasn't really suppose to be a carrier-class ship. Just something i came up with as i was bouncing ideas around on what a Utalaze carrier might look like.

Ultimately, the inner cargo bay can be converted to a hangar and vastly increase the ships fighter storage. Also, there's a bit of other nicknacks in there with framework to alter whatever ya might need.
