After 3 weeks of uncertainty that this was going to happen. Today I can tell you that the upcoming Blender 2.81 will have a Splash Screen of one of my projects, "The Junk Shop". I never thought that this would happen in a lifetime, but this makes me very, and I mean VERY proud/satisfied/energized. That the #BlenderTeam acknowledge my work blows my mind, this makes me feel part of Blender and encourages to keep doing the best I can, learn more and keep improving my craft on each new project.

To keep the tradition of all the Blender Splash Screens, this scene is now FREE to download in the Blender Cloud site.

Thank you all for the support that I've received since starting this journey, especially to Julien Kaspar and Pablo Vazquez for reaching out and supporting my endeavour. Found it a bit more usefull than sending my render jobs to a classic render farm in my case. A render farm will be faster for sure but with this solution i could do some other things too like i use it for video encoding sometimes or to play some games with my buddy who has an old PC that is not fast enough to play modern games. I like the idea of a "PC to go" if you wanna call it that way.

Yes, Shadow has virtual Windows 10 PCs for rent. The majority of customers over at Shadow are gamers but i´ll use it constantly to add power to my collection of renderslaves.

They also lowered the prices for the upcoming hardware upgrade in February 2020 so now you can get a Xenon eight core CPU and a GTX 1080 for 14,99 Euro. That´s pretty decent. ^^

@aendom: yes time for a RTX card.

I rented a machine over at Shadow Tech to add another powerful PC to my private renderfarm and they update their hardware in february 2020 with RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 TI. Man, this is gonna be so much fun.
