Kill Kushluk before 20 minutes have elapsed in the second Genghis Khan mission "A Life of Revenge".

Essentially you simply rush Kushluk with your initial forces, but send one of your troops to attack the tower on the way to him to lure all of the red army (Kara-Khitai) to respond to that, giving you the time you need to break down the wall separating you from him. He will run away, so you will need to track him down. He should be near his Town Center in the south-west of the map, but be careful to avoid patrolling units as it is imperative that you take no / minimal losses in order to have the strength to kill him.

Happened to me just now too. As soon as I broke the fence, I saved my game and quit, and then loaded that saved game and Kushluk was spawned right next to the fence and you can kill him immediately.

I broke through the fence and Kushluk had stopped and was waiting on the other side alone!! I beat the map in 3 minutes... haha!

Ah cool. Yeah, you need to keep your units alive a few seconds after killing him until the level actually completes hehe.

Hi Alex -- Yeah, the latest version. And y'know, about 5 minutes after posting my comment, I just tried again and was successful. I think my previous mistake was not running away with the scout, leading the enemies in a circuitous path. So, anyway, Kushluk was killed, 7 of my units left alive, the achievement triggered. Thanks!

That's strange - Might be a daft question, but you are playing the latest version of the game aren't you? I know in the earlier versions, there were a lot of achievements that were bugged and didn't trigger properly.

I've followed this guide, and have killed Kushluk 3-4 times now; each time the Objectives Window shows that Kushluk has been killed (green check-mark), and I still have 3-4 units left; yet I get "You Have Been Defeated," and the achievement doesn't trigger.

If you break the southernmost piece of the palisade, you can actually intercept Kushluk before he runs away and complete this even faster/safer.

Use the same trick as here with the scout to lure the enemies away, but instead of going north with your army, go between the buildings and the southern wall. This will avoid the trigger to run away entirely. Surround him and attack from the left, this will trigger the run away but he will be stuck in combat, and should die very soon.
