@Charly must play on a really cheap and old laptop to start lagging in a game as light as Rivals where stages are literally PNGs made in paint.

@Charly No idea what the issue could be then since texture sizes are fairly compact in file size compared to quite a number of other stages now.

Does the game lag on any other stages like, for example, The Backburner? The only thing I can think of that could be causing issues is that I'm artificially looping one of the music tracks (since RoA only allows tracks to loop to the start of the file) which causes one of the tracks to have a larger file size, other stages like The Backburner do that stuff too though so idk.

@mitchellboot I tested it, still gets laggy, combined that with the soft tracks it makes it,, kinda boring, still with that it looks amazing.

@Plotylty I tried making some further optimizations to the spritesheets so that they're as compact as they could possibly be at the moment. If you could tell me if this has improved anything I'd appreciate that a ton as I personally don't experience any issues even under conditions where other stages are running slower than usual, so I can't really check myself.
