Disable Windows Mouse Acceleration

Turn off mouse smoothing in Windows!

There are plenty of online resources that will detail how to disable mouse acceleration in your version of Windows. I suggest googling "turn off mouse smoothing in Windows".

Disable In-Game Mouse Acceleration

Open Minerva: Metastasis.

Open your mouse settings and uncheck smoothing:

Options > Mouse > Mouse filter

Enable the developer console in your settings:

Options > Keyboard > Advanced... > Enable Developer Console (~)

Open the developer console (by default, the tilde key ~) and type:

m_customaccel_scale 0

Profit

You're done! Enjoy MINERVA.

If you prefer to enable mouse acceleration on your desktop, turn it on again once you're done playing.

that doesn't seem to work, likely because m_customaccel_scale doesn't seem to change anything because it's a modifier for m_customaccel, which is already set to 0 (off). the way i got true raw input was with a tool called RInput. you can google it to find it, then launch rinput.exe and type hl2.exe and start the game normally
