"No Steam overlay? No problem. SteaScree is here to save the day. I'd rather use that than upload screenshots as artwork."

Oh, it's pretty much what you have done. Creating a screenshot folder with ID, and renaming screenshots so that it can be read and picked up by Steam.

I had to do this with games I used Reshade/SweetFX because it disabled the Steam Overlay. To no fault of the game.

I couldn't dare pass up using a Reshade for Vampyr so I dealt with the inconvenience.

There are games that just do not support Steam Overlay out of the box so this is nice to have around.

Oh yeah. XD
Hey, have you experienced fps drops and stuttering? I do... and it's pretty much constant. Some people posted that turning Vsync on (or off) would fix that but it didn't work in my case. Granted I'm playing on my old 2012 rig but it's plenty powerful for that game. Will try to fiddle with the other settings. O_o

Ripper: lol? Gotta say, not sure what's so funny. :p

VD: what's that other method?

Sig: Well SteaScree "only" lets you import screenshots that weren't taken by F12-ing, such as Far Cry 5 screenshots that are stored in a Uplay subfolder when using the photo mode. You select the image you want and SteaScree will convert them and put them in the appropriate Steam folder. Now, for a game like TRU, there was no game folder in the Steam userdata directory so I couldn't select it when using SteaScree. I did have to create a game ID folder (plus a subfolder named screenshots), but once that was done, I could import the images I got from the game using SteaScree and Steam recognized them as screenshots.

Oh nice! I will have to try this to grab some shots of Fran Bow.

There's the alternative method, but it's frustrating and cumbersome.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm having an issue with a few games that I am playing.
