Next, extract the files from the zip file using WinRAR or 7-Zip.

Add the fix to Soundpad's installation folder:

• Open Soundpad's file location.
  
• Move the extracted files into Soundpad's file location.
  
• When prompted by Windows to replace the files, click "Yes."

Create a shortcut for Soundpad:

• Right-click soundpad.exe in Soundpad's file location and select "Create shortcut."
  
• Place this shortcut wherever you prefer.

(Note: You need to use this shortcut to start Soundpad without the in-game status.)

Starting Soundpad:

• Launch Soundpad using the shortcut you created to prevent Steam from showing you are using Soundpad.
  
• If you start Soundpad through Steam, it will work as usual and show that you are using Soundpad.

Pro Tip by Czarchasm:

On Windows, press Windows + R, type "shell:startup" (without quotes), and press Enter. This opens a folder where you can place program shortcuts to start them automatically when Windows starts. You can put the Soundpad shortcut here for automatic startup.
