Diesel Truck (12 Gears)

Disclaimer: This vehicle is not easy to drive!
you will need to operate the gearstick (realistic and easy to learn)
and the clutch, retarder, choke, etc, but... That doesn't mean it's not fun! Enjoy!
Also please don't re-upload this vehicle or its transmission.

most but not all, can also be found in the owners manual
that comes with the vehicle.

The transmission is the most unique thing about this vehicle;
not the usual sequential or automatic transmissions in most vehicles.

This is a full manual transmission..
Instead of pressing "1" to shift up
or "2" to shift down. This feature is not only more realistic,
but also allows you to skip gears.

This transmission has a total of 12 gears (6L + 6H)




This transmission uses almost all the stormworks controls,
and here they are:



Down: Clutch
1: Move Gearstick Left
2: Move Gearstick Right
3: Neutral (will immediately put the transmission into N, useful for stopping or starting)
4: Move Gearstick Up
5: Move Gearstick Down
6: High/Low


1: Clutch
3: Neutral (will immediately put the transmission into N, useful for stopping or starting)
4: Indicator Left
5: Indicator Right
6: High/Low
Left arrow: Move Gearstick Left
Right arrow: Move Gearstick Right
Up arrow: Move Gearstick Up
Down arrow: Move Gearstick Down




To shift up:
5, 5, 4, 2, 4, 5, 5

To shift down:
4, 4, 5, 1, 5, 4, 4

once you're in 6th gear enable high range then move to 1st gear (4, 1, 1, 6, 4).
just remember you're always 6 gears higher than the display says when in high range.

Gear arrangement (in ascending order)
RH, RL, N, N, 1L, N, 2L, N, N, 3L, N, 4L, N, N, 5L, N, 6L,
N, N, N, 1H, N, 2H, N, N, 3H, N, 4H, N, N, 5H, N, 6H.

Wont go into reverse? Hold down the 4 key. This is for your own safety.

It is not required or recommended to use the clutch when shifting.




W/S: Throttle/Brakes.
A/D: Steer left/Steer right.
Left/Right: Indicator left/Indicator right.




Make sure the transmission is in neutral by pressing the neutral key (3).
Turn the starter key.
Take off the parking brake.
Press the clutch key (Down Arrow).
Move the gearstick into 1st (4).
Release the clutch.
The truck should start moving.




Press the neutral key (3) to put the transmission into neutral and prevent stalling.
Apply the brakes (S).




“Shift”: Will blink when the engine RPM is above 1020 .
“Stall Warning”: Will blink when the engine RPM is below 240.
“Clutch/Throttle”: Displays clutch (in white) and throttle (in red).
“Speed (KPH)”: Goes up to 220, the top speed of the truck.




The choke cuts off air to the engine for example 70% choke is only 30% of the normal air to the engine.

This has 2 uses,
1: Use as a cruise control and hold down "W"
2: Stopping a runaway engine
Do not use the choke while drifting or parking.
Excessive amounts of choke (above 85%) may cause stalling.




The retarder helps you slow down without braking,
useful for going downhill.




0-100KPH: 8.8 seconds?
Top speed: 220KPH?

Lockable differentials. (under the truck).
6 wheel drive mode, recommended for off roading or drifting.
Control switcher (in the engine bay).
Ackerman steering.
Auto-cancel indicators.
Engine will temporarily shut off if the temp gets too high.
Towing hook at the back.
Can also pump diesel in or out of the tank.
