Trials of Thought Teleporter Puzzle

Below are boxes that represent the floor tiles that you must walk on in order to get through this small puzzle. The numbers are for easy reference, with 2 being the first that you step on when entering the room and 9 being the one that you want to end up on.

Step on the tiles in this order: 2, 5, 8, 9, 6, 5, 2, 3, 6, 5, 2, 1 (Don't forget to press the button here), 4, 5, 2, 1, 4, 5, 2, 3, 6, 5, 8, 9

All you have to do is walk such that it flips on/off every other portal. There's an infinite number of solutions, but it's easy enough to get the first try.

Also, for those who haven't noticed yet, each tile toggles the state of adjacent tiles (excluding diagonals)
