Back when Noita launched i really wanted a means of saving and reloading on death, from that idea i created a simple batch script to allow me to backup and restore a single save.

The current version has 3 save slots, and the ability to delete saves and open up the save folder

Upcoming versions will have the ability to start the game with a custom seed, ideally it will undo the change on exit so it only uses a custom seed when you want it to.

The tool is not finished, and it currently only works with the windows / steam version

Notes

** If you edit the batch, make sure you have OEM-US character set is enabled in editor such as Notepad++(encoding>Character sets>Western European>OEM-US) **

** Note - has 3 save slots, you can easily add more by editing the :REST and :R00X blocks **

** Note - It appears if you have cloud saving on it can sometime cause issues as it tries to upload the save right when you quit so relaunching before that is complete will cause delay, i personally disabled mine **

Shame it's not in game, I find this much better than the 'dead is not dead' that fully restores life and spells on death.

@flyons_gary - Not sure where else it would be but if you can locate the save location you can edit the script to direct you to that location.

@pasfieldmark - I'm not sure what you mean are you talking about Noita or the save tool? My tool shouldn't cause any issues with the game, the only thing is that if you delete the saves you delete the settings as i just wholesale copy the files, so perhaps if you deleted your current save its just reset your settings and sometimes the resolution can get weird and not let you click on things (i've had it happen)

I can not access the main menu. It does not let me press on options or any main menu title. I can not save game it goes back to start. I can not adjust the screen size. Help?

I do not appear to be able to find Noita's stuff at the local file in appdata? Am I missing something?

Updated with task monitoring, it will run in the background while you play checking to see if its running, once you quit it will go main menu.

@Anonycat, thats something i plan on implementing. I might try to get a release out tonight but if i cant it probably will be friday as the next two days are gonna be long at work XD
