I know how you stop this i dont know if this works for you but you can make a new save and go back to this point in the new save and try again because that worked for me so it might for you

I had the problem when you cut down the tree and he was under it he would get crushed and die xD

this was his chance you two are stranded

My guess is Rosh takes damage during the jump, so if he does not have enough health he dies.

I just had this happen to me, basically had to start the mission over from scratch. When he's not busy trying to kill you, he's killing himself I guess.

This happens every single time i try to pass it.
On the OG version never happened to me.

I've either not encountered that. I actually started to record from the beginning and was pretty disappointed when I got greeted this way and buried my plans of recording this game. XD

I've never in all my years playing this game have seen that hahaha, is it replicable?
