Introduction

This issue has left many frustrated but luckily is fairly simple to fix, there are a lot of steps but they are pretty easy :)

Step 1 - Bethesda Account

1. In the main game menu press R to access Betheseda.net, and log in or create a new account if you haven't already got one.

2. Once you've verified your email address, click your name on the website (top right corner) and select Linked Accounts.

3. If not already linked to Steam click Add a Platform and Steam. Provide login credentials as required.

4. Restart your game. Press R to check you are logged into Bethesda.net. (Statistics and Friends should now be accessible in the menu).

Step 2 - Creating a Support Ticket

5. If When your new content doesn't appear, click the link to visit Bethesda.net. Scroll to the very bottom of the website and click Support Center.

6. Click the picture of RAGE 2.

7. Scroll down and click Submit a Ticket.

8. Click In-Game Support.

9. There's only one option... I think you got this.

10. Fill in the required information. Remember your Pleases and Thank Yous. Refrain from insults.

You'll need to attach a screenshot of your receipt. (Help>Steam Support>Rage 2>View Receipt in the Steam client). The file name of the screenshot must not contain a full stop/period otherwise it will fail to upload.

If you don't know how to take a screenshot, well frankly you're beyond help. (Only joking :D Google it)

Step 3 - Emailing Bethesda

11. You will shortly receive a useless copy-pasted email detailing where to find the BFG and other content, and some blurb about product codes.

12. When you realise you still can't find the Deluxe content, reply to the email and explain your situation.

13. You will receive a reply asking you to, once again, send the screenshot of the receipt. Make sure to attach the correct image file - nobody at Bethesda wants to receive a picture of your furry love banana because you weren't paying attention.

14. You will soon receive an email to confirm the content is now added to your account.

Step 4 - Play!

15. Play the game, you should receive an Intel pop-up once you have loaded your save, and a meteor will crash just north of the starting town. Congratulations! You just went Deluxe :)

Additional Information

As well as the Deluxe Bonuses you now have the Rise of the Ghosts DLC, which adds a new region and missions (available after the Blackout mission).

When I was trying to get my Deluxe bonuses I started a new game save to see if it would trigger the BFG meteor, and this is when I first noticed the new region on the minimap - so I don't know if it will show up in an existing game save or if you need to start a new game. EDIT: Just tested with an old game save and it does work :)

I've tried everything to get the BFG 9000. I paid for the content in with the currency you're forced to purchase. I've gotten everything else but, even though I paid for it.

As promised here's an update as things did change. After speaking to 4 different "Agents" from Bethesda by creating a ticket ended up paying off. After some back and forth once again a kind "Agent" named Ross came in and noted that he had added the entitlements to my account and that all I had left to do was start the game and a pop up should appear. That ended up happening and I now had full access to all the content I payed for.

Can't recomment this Guide enough because this exactly helped me get to the content was missing from the Game although it took some time chatting with Bethesda.

Hello, late to the party I know but I just wanted to let all of you reading this after today that this doesn't seem to work any longer apparently. I just went back and forth with Bethesdas Support, spoke to two different people in the process and in the end they told me to just message Steam and have them take care of it. Which I obviously tried before about a week ago and I'm still waiting for a replay.

So good luck getting that bonus content now, if I remember I will update if anything helps!

johncurtismaynard: You will need to buy Rage 2 coins. Go to the in-game store to purchase what you want.

This helped a lot. But if you tell them in the first message that you already know how to get the content and that you didnt recieve any pop-up they will probably add the content right away.
