My Entry for the Station Design Competition

- Blocks: 1010
- PCU: 4927
- the red stripes are #FF0000 (for faction colors)

Description
This Deep Space Station is a small outpost that can be found anywhere in space. I wanted it to look a bit like a typical, modular space station (like the ISS for example), without giving up the "sci-fi" look of Space Engineers. It ended up looking like a mix of a space station and a large antenna or some kind of relais. I like this look, because I think that communication is very important in deep space.

The station has two rooms. The "entrance-room", where you can find the economy blocks and a living room, where the NPC-Crew (six persons) lives. Both rooms are pressurized by the vents in the entrance room. Everything is pretty narrow. I imagine a deep space station like some kind of submarine, where you live with minimal personal space.

Above the entrance-room are the reactors, containers and tanks. You can see them through a large window. If you want to reach them, you will have to go outside and use a maintenence door on top of the station.

There are connectors on each of the two landing pads and two connectors on the "arms" of the station, so larger ships can connect to the station, too. I colored the conveyor tubes gold for the first time. It reminds me of the Apollo-Spacecrafts.

The solar panels and reactors are more for decoration, since the NPC Stations are powered by a "cheat".

@Hull Breach If it uses Style pack and Economy Pack, how come it doesn't say so on the "Required DLCs" list? Just wondering

DLC's are additional content packages that you can buy on the space engineers shop site. They vontain different additional blocks like shop/vending blocks and decorative blocks. Some of my builds contain blocks from those Dlcs (DLC = Downloadable content)

Maybe it's one of the colors (gold?) or the shop/vending machines?

How come it says that there are blocks from a DLC i dont have when I have decorative pack 1? This bug is only occuring with this build. Is there anything else other than the DLC?
