Each level gained will add proficiency which means the tool associated to the skill will use less energy.

Tools associated is the Hoe and Watering Can. At level 10 you will have a 21% chance to get a Gold quality crop on normal soil, and 61% chance on Quality Fertilized soil. Consuming food buffs will further increase it up to 77% chance (Level 13).

Tool associated is the Axe. Items from the Farm Cave and Mushroom Trees does not give experience. At level 10 you will have 33% chance to get a Gold quality item and can be further increased to 43% (Level 13). The Botanist perk will always give you Gold or Iridium quality forage and a chance to double it.

Tool associated is the Fishing Pole and Crab Pots. Perfect catch will increase the quality of fish further up to Iridium and multiply the EXP by 2.2, and catching a Treasure Chest will multiply EXP by 2.4.

Tool associated is the Pickaxe, and or bombs. Nodes gives more experience than ordinary rocks. Any nodes and rocks destroyed by a bomb will also give experience.

Slaying monsters from caves or farm will give you experience. Each level also increases your HP by 5 points. See Monsters & Loots for experience values.

Gives bonuses to your character when reaching level 5 and level 10.

• Villagers have a maximum of 10-heart Friedship points (8 for bachelors/ettes) and each heart is equivalent to 250 pts. You can earn points by:
  
• Talking to them once a day gives you +10 pts (+20 pts if they are idle/walking).
  
• Bulletin Board delivery quest gives +150 pts.
  
• Gifting:
  - 80 pts - ❤️Loved items (+640 pts if it's their birthday, +400 for Winter Star event)

• Bundles require 3-6 items so you don't have to gather everything on this list. Check your bundle list beforehand and see which items are the most convenient for you to get.

Source of precious ores, artifacts, and rare items. Infested floors sometimes generate and requires you to kill all monsters on the floor for a ladder to spawn, unless you craft and use your own ladder.

Shrine of Challenge was added in v1.5 which transform The Mines and Skull Cavern into a harder version with stronger monsters and better loot drops. You need to do and complete Qi's Quest in Ginger Island to access it. Radioactive Ore, a new type of ore, can also be looted when the Shrine is active. The Shrine is located in The Mines level 120 after completing the quest and use it to toggle the dungeons between normal and hard versions.

• Health/HP - Your character will pass out if it drains to zero, and you will lose gold (10%, 1,000g max) and items in your inventory. Combat skills Fighter (+15 HP) and Defender (+25 HP), and Snake Milk (+25 HP, Skull Cavern Level 100) raises your HP permanently.
  
• Defense - reduces damage intake from monsters by 1 per point. Some food that boost defense: Banana Pudding (+1 Def, +1 Mining, +1 Luck), Pumpkin Soup (+2 Def, +2 Luck).
  
• Immunity - reduces the chance to be afflicted by a debuff. Each point reduces the chance by 10%. Footwear and rings give immunity.
  
• Buffs - beneficial temporary boost to the character from food or rings proc. Consuming food will override current active buff. However, different buffs from drinks and food stacks. For example, if you consume Coffee (+1 speed) and Spicy Eel (+1 speed) you get +2 speed in total.
  
• Debuff - harmful status ailment done by the monsters or some food.
  
• Luck - affect drop rates of geodes and coals, gem node spawns, discovering ladders, crate spawns, treasure chest floors (Skull Cavern), and amount of gold and items lost when passing out (more luck means less item lost). Luck is calculated by Daily Luck from Fortune Teller (+0.025 w/ Special Charm) + Equipment + Food buff.

• There are 4 kinds of weapons in the game: Swords, Daggers, Clubs/Hammers, and Slingshot.
  
• Each weapon can execute a special move by pressing Right Click (except for the Slingshot); Swords can block, Daggers can burst attack, and Hammers can deal AoE damage. Common farm tools can also deal minimal damage.
  
• You can equip different kinds of ammo for the slingshot including eggs, fruits, crops, ores, stone, wood, coal.

• Accessible on Day 5 of Year 1. Located northeast from the farm. 120 floors in total with an elevator available every 5th level, a treasure chest every 10th level, random Mushroom floor (81-119).
  
• There are four themes in The Mines: Earth 1-39 (Copper Ores), Frozen 40-79 (Iron Ores), and Lava 80-120 (Gold Ores).
  
• After reaching the bottom of the mine, all the monsters in the game will now have a chance to drop the Prismatic Shard (0.05%).
  
• The Mines can be reset (monster and rocks spawned) when exiting it.

Rare Items

• Located in the Sewers, accessible during the Wizard's 'Dark Talisman' chain quest. The Sewers can be unlocked by donating 60 artifacts to the museum granting you the Rusty Key.
  
• A good place to farm bug meat and fiber.
  
• The only place to fish the Slimejack.

• Located on the northeast from the farm, accessible after repairing the Quarry bridge (Community Center Bundle/Joja Co. payment). The dungeon resets daily.

• Can be found northwest of Calico Desert and requires the Skull Key (Mines level 120) to access. Source of Iridium ores, deeper levels spawn more of the nodes.
  
• You can also find the Snake Milk (+25 HP) in level 100 of the dungeon.
  
• In-game time runs slower while inside, 54 seconds per 1 hour IGT (normally 42 seconds).
  
• Special mineshafts can spawn when mining or slaying monsters that can let you jump down multiple floors.
  
• Random chance to get Prehistoric Floors that contains Pepper Rex monsters to spawn.
  
• Good source for farming Omni Geodes from Ghost monsters.
  
• Every 10th level can sometimes contain treasure chest that can drop random items from food to farm machines.
  
• Using bombs or Slingshot armed with explosive ammo is more effective here when rappeling down the dungeon, consuming luck and speed food is advised to increase the chance of spawning a ladder. It's also handy to bring along extra ladders to skip those annoying infested floors.

Rare Items

• Located north from Ginger Island. This dungeon is a bit more challenging than the ones found in Stardew Valley. This dungeon has 10 floors in total.
  
• Bringing along your watering can is recommended as you can use it to make paths between lava pools.
  
• The Dwarfish Forge can be found on the final floor which you can use to forge and enchant weapon and tools.
  
• There is a Dwarf shop on level 5 which sells some useful items. *See Ginger Island

Rare Items

• (*) Item only drops if a particular quest is active.
  
• 0.05% Diamond, 0.05% Prismatic Shard, will now drop from all monsters if you have reached the bottom of The Mines (Floor 120).
  
• A quarry floor will randomly generate in The Mines if the Quarry has been unlocked.

• Can be accessed while 'Danger In The Deep' quest from Qi's Walnut Room is active. After completing the quest the Shrine can be located at the bottom of the mines and can be toggled to change dungeon difficulty (Mines and Skull Cavern).
  
• Radioactive Ore can be found in the mines when the Shrine is Active.
  
• Most monsters are just an alteration of the original with more HP and Attack damage but with different sprite, and there are some that are unique which is listed below. They also drop unique items such as Qi Gems and Sprinkler headers.

• Added in v1.5, you can now forge and enchant your weapons and tools to make them more powerful and add bonuses when using them.
  
• Note that Forging and Enchanting are two different upgrades and you can add them independently.
  
• The Dwarf Forge is located on the final level of the Volcano Dungeon.

Only applicable to weapons and needs Cinder Shards and a gem to forge. You can collect Cinder Shards from monsters and mining inside the dungeon. You can forge weapons up to three times.

If you have a Galaxy Weapon you can further upgrade and turn it into an Infinity Weapon. You'll need 3 Galaxy Soul which you can get as a reward from doing Qi Quests and/or trading from the Bluebird Island Trader (needs to complete a quest to unlock).

• Enchanting gives the weapon/tool a bonus effect when used. Enchants are random and only one enchant can be active at a time per weapon/tool.
  
• You need 1 Prismatic Shard and 20 Cinder Shard for every attempt.
  
• You can also use the forge to add/remove enchantment, or change the appearance of a weapon. Only the same kind of weapon works when changing its appearance and it consumes the secondary weapon that is placed.
  
• Enchantment does not work on Slingshots.

• Quality doesn't affect the final cost of the good, so using a normal quality item is preferable when making artisan products. Except for Wool, higher quality gives a chance for multiple yield.
  
• You can get different Honey by planting a flower near the Bee House within the range of 4 vertical tiles and 5 horizontal tiles.
  
• You need 1 Fairy Dust for every star quality in using the Cask. Needs a total of 3 Fairy Dusts for instant Iridium quality per Cask.
  
• The Artisan Profession (Level 10 Farming) will further increase the price by 40%.

After fully upgrading your house you can add additional rooms or remove a walls/crib. You can also paint buildings in your farm. (Paint is accessible in the 'build' window at Robin's.) House Renovations are free.
