This massive granite basin sits in front of the Altes Museum on Museumsinsel in Berlin. It was quarried from a nearby forest and hauled to the Lustgarten (the park in front of the Dom, Berlin's central cathedral), in 1826. Cut from a single stone, it was a wonder of engineering in its time. The surface was polished to mirror-like perfection.

Today the Granitschale is covered in pockmarks from WW2. It is no longer one single piece (a seam where it was glued back together is clearly visible), and it has lost its sheen. But don't be forlorn! For our parks, I have decided to restore it to a slightly better state. <3

I have to admit that I don't put that much thought into the stats of my assets. It's a bit helpful to understand your issues but it would be even more helpful if you would suggest exact stats that you think would be appropriate. Then I could consider updating this asset to your suggestions. Maybe I should have given it a bit of upkeep, but having it not require water or electricity seemed appropriate on many levels (realistic and gameplay).

Ami, first of all let me say in advance I admire your work and dedication to bring best kind of unique touch to this game. I appreciate all the hard work and bid my thanks.

Meanwhile let me critisize Granitschale a bit.
It is beautiful in every visual aspect. But it is not balanced in game terms.

- It affects a very big area for leisure
- Cost is only 1250c, which is among lovest tire
- Area it covers is only 2 sq/parcels
- Visitor Capacity is too much
- There is no upkeep
- Does not use water or electricity

Tropical Garden is actually worse than Small Playground in affect, I know. Simply it just looks good.

But this not only looks far better than a small park, also has huge advantages. When I am stuck for Leisure and has limited balance early game, it became my escape exit :)

Maybe it should be a unique building becoming available with first milestone? I would still use it. I love it.

I hope you appreciate sincere feedback and keep up great work. Thanks one more time.

If you manually placing prop, and are using Prop Painter mod, make sure their colour is white, or their original colour. The problem is ismiliar with Painter mod, when plopped building wont light up at night if their colour are 'void'. Void =/= black, but the state where it doesn't have colour, and can be fixed by set it to other colour, or press 'reset'.

Thank you!
Exactly, they come on if you put anything near it with Move It, lights, buildings, whatever, until the next start. Weird and annoying!
Hopefully someone will find a solution someday.

Never found a solution for that one, sorry. It has bugged me to this day. If you select the lights w moveit and nudge them, they will all come on, but the next time you load your save again, they will be off again.

@AmiPolizeiFunk
Off Topic
I have just read in a forum a post from February 4, where you asked for help about a problem with several prop lights not turning on. Because I have the same problem, may I ask you If you have found a solution for that issue meanwhile? I agree that obviously it did not makes any difference if they are powered by the electricity grid or not.

Thank you, this is looking gorgeous! Glad we can make this part of the park better than the actual :) ( Warning: broken asset seems repaired LOL)

What are you using for your walkways? I am so envious looking at these screenshots.
