Bohemian Interactive terrain for Take on Helicopters ported to Arma 3.

This Mod is an adaptation of the old ToH map for Arma3, but trying to preserve the old spirit of the map. Without major modifications, with new functional additions and without pretensions to create a new map and if a reliable adaptation.

I know this is nothing new, but in this case the difference is that added roads in South Asia and skyscrapers and other buildings in Seattle.

Optional disable Roads:
@ToH noRoads South Asia

Technical Details
Grid size : 4096
Cell size : 30
Satellite Tile : 1024
Texture Layer : 120
Total objects : 1,160,307
Km x Km : 122.8 x 122.8
Square Km : 15079.84
Real world location : https://goo.gl/maps/NNp45JTmBDuBUh1cA

Minimum recommended visibility setting:
setViewDistance 12000; setObjectViewDistance [9000,400]; setTerrainGrid 7.5; setPiPViewDistance 6000; setDetailMapBlendPars [5,50];

Known Bugs:
-It is compatible with @CUP Terrain - Core, but it must be loaded before @ToH Core in the mod list.
-There is a problem related to the size of the roads. If you overload a lot of Mods and you have a PC with little Ram memory, it is possible to get a fatal error of "many virtual blocks requested" due to the saturation of information loaded into memory.

Any advice on the old map of ToH to give a greater resemblance to the original, will be welcome.

Curious how this is different from the other upload on the workshop? This is ~2.5gb smaller - sounds like you added buildings? Feel like it should be bigger if that's the case. Thanks.

Hi @LNXH,
it's a really big map, perfect for air missions.
And it can easily be played with a long distance map view (12km is very playable without low FPS).
I did the test with a wheeled vehicle driving at 100kmh and it took me from north to south only 9h of my life... :eaglederp:

Hello @BlackFalco
You have it inside the mod content... in the folder:

\steamapps\common\Arma 3\!Workshop\@South Asia\Missions\AirbaseTemplate.South_Asia_H

You can move this mission to your arma3 profile and merge it into your mission or use it as a template.

Hi @Jove Chiere, I don't remember where we can find the mission template with the already done airbases.
Thanks!

wow he wasn't kidding , it actually is arizona , good eye , although when in the south asia terrain the area seems much larger then that small box , did they just stretch that small box ?

You are referring to the satellite images...
Yes this terrain was actually taken from Arizona imagery and not South Asia.
It seems that the BI gentlemen wanted to do something different initially or it was easier to get those satellite images in 2011.

You can see the exact location on the link...
