Song tags basically allow you to create custom modes to play aroudn with which usually modify an element like adding 4 lanes instead of 3, taking out all grays, changing the camera and more, they are fun to experiment with and are not widely known about. Though you can do things that could make the game easier it actually will put the score in a different leaderboard as well so you won't be cheating anyone out a well earned score. All you need to know is how to edit a song's tags and what to put in.

Now lets get onto how we get this effect.

Okay first all we need to do is change the songs title, seems easy right? WRONG.
We have to change to tags attached to the file we want to do this to, its not as simple as renaming a file. The best software I found to do this with is called mp3tag[www.mp3tag.de] .
Go ahead and download before moving on.

Now we want to locate the song we want to modify and make a copy


After that, just right click the file and click on 'mp3tag'


Now from here, go ahead a click on the file that you right clicker earlier from this display and look at all the info we can modify now!


Now where we are going to add tags is simple, edit the song's title tag, by going to the box label title, so that instead of just being "Songtitle" it is "Songtitle [tag1] [tag2]"

etc. etc. lets move onto the possible tags and effects.

Here's a list of all the available keywords for you to experiment with however you want. For the ones with an X, such as [as-monoptX] put a number there, like 3 or 127. You can use many at a time, but only one from each group can be used.
