Finding More Geese
To find many flocks of geese, you'll need to host your own Hirschfelden server. You must have a setup of decoys and blinds. Make sure to have a Goose Caller. I recommend using a layout blind, for they are much easier to use than ground blinds (It comes free with the Blind DLC). The setup must be in a strawfield. It is large area where you can spot geese flying over your head easily. This is my field and the setup I have.

Finally get inside the layout blind and wait. Use your caller nonstop. The attraction range is up to 500m. Make sure you didn't waste any time and as soon as you hosted the server you were inside the blind. You should hear geese any time soon. Soon enough you'll see many flocks above you. Many geese always show up on a new server, if you played a long time on the server, they most likely won't show up in many flocks. About 4 or 5 flocks will fly over you. Do your best to keep calling and wait for them to land beside your decoys. After you've shot many geese and some flew away, you're left with dead bodies everywhere and no more geese flying over your head. Don't worry! You won't have to wait 10 minutes for another flock to come. Just finish collecting the geese and quit the server. When you reach main menu, click "Continue". Make sure the map is set on Hirschfelden. You should spawn right at your tent that you set up near the goose decoys. Quickly get inside your blind and keep calling. Many flocks will appear again and you can begin shooting. After you're done collecting the bodies, host your own Hirschfelden server and repeat calling and waiting. Keep repeating the steps. Host your server, then go singleplayer, host your server, then go singleplayer! Many flocks will show up everytime your join a different server, whether its your own server, or a singleplayer one! Soon enough you'll find these beautiful geese called "Brown Hybrid". They're uncommon and I love 'em. Its a 3/10 chance you'll find one.

I've had a few flocks of mallard at Layton stay put while I picked them off from ~200yds. They might spook if your shots are too fast in succession though. It seems they will sometimes sit still if you take a few seconds between shots and are 150+ yrds. This was with the .22 pistol so it may be quieter and also the very tip of the front sight is about 150.

Ducks in Parque Fernando may glitch and not fly out of the water. If you get very close then they will fly away. You can shoot each duck from a distance and I garantee you will hunt the whole flock.

I don't know ducks, but if you have any goose questions, I am sure I can answer them. You can use Birdshot or Buckshot for weapon. You may also want to try Whitlock, for it is very good at close range attacks, like when wolves are chasing you, or charging buffalo or bison.

thanks it will help me, i would add, if you kill a diamond don't forget to collect others before you pick the diamond because consecutive kill bonus is reset every time you switch solo/multi, i made the mistake :/

Sometimes you might not see flocks, but only one or two lonely geese. It all depends on the weather. If its rainy, you might not see many geese. If its full sun, (7:50 should be perfect) than you should find flocks.
