Introduction
This guide will give you instructions on how you can contribute your own screenshots, artwork and videos for your favourite games to the Steam community. It will also go into detail about how to correctly tag your content so it's visible to other fans on the community hub.

Before you'll be able to upload tagged content to the Steam community you'll need to own a copy of the product on Steam.

Community Hub
Community hubs can be found by visiting the home page of the Steam community. From this page you can view a list of the most popular content across every community hub on Steam.

You're able to filter the type of content displayed by clicking the links along the top. You're also able to choose to display the most recent content, instead of the most popular.

To find a hub for a specific game you can type the name of the product into the search bar located near the top of the page.

You're also able to click on the "Community Hub" button found on the specific product's Steam store page.
Sharing Screenshots
Screenshots you've taken within a game using the Steam screenshot key can be uploaded using the screenshot uploader tool. By default this button is bound to "F12", and can be edited within the Steam settings.

Open the Steam client and click on "View" and then "Screenshots" at the top to access the screenshot uploader.

Once you've clicked on "Screenshots" the screenshot uploader window will appear. This window will display a categorized list of every screenshot you've taken within a game.

To select a game to view, use the dropdown menu located at the top left of the window.

With a game selected, you'll be able to see all of the screenshots you've taken. If you've found one you'd like to share, select the thumbnail on the left, and then select "Upload". If you'd like you can also write a caption, or tag the screenshot if it contains potential spoilers.

Before the upload begins you'll need to confirm your selection by clicking "Upload" again. From this screen it will give you a list of the remaining cloud space you have left and how much your space your screenshot will take.

You'll also be given the opportunity to change the visibility level and share the screenshot to Facebook if your account is linked. If you'd like your screenshot to appear on the community hub, select Public.

When the screenshot is done uploading you'll be able to click "View Online" to view your screenshot on the Steam community.

You can also view your uploaded screenshots on your Steam profile by clicking the "Screenshots" link.
Sharing Screenshots with Big Picture
If you're using Steam Big Picture you can take an in-game screenshot by clicking the guide button and the right trigger. This can be edited within your Big Picture controller settings.

http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=192523320

To share a screenshot select the game from your library and navigate to the "Screenshots" module. From the menu choose "View all screenshots".

Scroll through your screenshots until you've found the one you want to upload and select "Share".

You can then fill out an optional caption, or tag the screenshot if it contains potential spoilers. You can also modify the visibility level.

When you're ready to upload select the "Upload" button.

When it's done uploading the "Share" button will be replaced with one labeled "View Online". Selecting it will pull up a web browser within Big Picture with the community page for your screenshot.

You can also view your uploaded screenshots on your Steam Profile by clicking the "Screenshots" link.
Adding Videos
Videos must be uploaded to YouTube before you'll be able to submit them to the Steam community. YouTube videos must be set to public and embedding must be enabled.

Adding a video to the Steam community can be done by clicking the "Videos" link on the right side of you Steam profile.

If your Steam account is not yet linked to YouTube, you'll need to click the "Link to YouTube" button at the top of the page.

On the next page select the "Access your YouTube videos" button. You'll then be prompted to enter your YouTube account credentials and to authorize Steam.

Once you're done linking your YouTube account with Steam return to the videos page on your Steam profile and select the "Add videos from YouTube" button near the top. Clicking on this button will give a page which looks like the following:

Find the video you want to share and click on the checkbox to the left of the thumbnail under the "Select Video(s)to add" section. Once you have a video selected choose the game you want to associate it with by using the drop-down list. If you're adding a non-Steam game video, you can type the name of the game into the text box beneath the drop-down instead.

When you're ready, click on "Add Video".

Near the top of the page you'll receive confirmation letting you know the video was added.

If you click on the "Videos" button on your Steam profile it will now display the video you just added. The video will also appear in the community hub for the selected game.

Posting Artwork
You can post fan art for a product on Steam by visiting its community hub and visiting the "Artwork" section. From the community hub's artwork page select the "Upload Your Artwork" button at the top.

If you'd like to upload artwork that is not directly related to a product on Steam you can do so by visiting the "Artwork" page of your Steam profile. From your artwork page select "Upload Artwork" and then choose "Not Game Specific".

From the artwork submission screen you'll need to give your artwork a name and a description. You'll also need to upload the art in either PNG, JPG or GIF format with the size of 10MB or less.

Near the bottom of the submission page you'll be asked to give your artwork a visibility setting. For the artwork to be visible on the community hub you'll need to have this set to "Public".

When you're done click on "Save artwork to Community Hub" to upload your artwork to the Steam community.

If your artwork is not product specific select "Save artwork to my profile"

Uploaded artwork can be viewed on your Steam profile by clicking the "Artwork" link.
Removing and Editing Your Content
All of the content you've uploaded to the Steam community can be found on the sidebar of your Steam profile.

Once you've navigated to one of your submissions you'll see a highlighted box titled "Owner Controls". Each submission category has a different set of controls, but all of them will allow you to change the visibility and delete the selected piece.

Changing the visibility of a submission from public to friends only or private will remove the submission from the community hub.
Reporting Content
Material that is inappropriate, copyright infringing or content unrelated to the community hub can be reported by clicking the "Report" button.

If you're viewing the content from the community hub you will need to select the cogwheel button and then choose "Report" from the drop-down menu.

Once you've clicked on "Report" the report window will appear. Fill in a brief description with the reasoning for your report and click on "Ok".

If you're reporting the content for copyright infringement you'll need to file a DMCA complaint. With the report window open click on the link beneath the text box to be taken to taken to the DMCA complaint page.

Reports are reviewed by both Valve and volunteer Steam community moderators. If action is taken against the content you've reported you'll receive an email notification.
