About Monty Phyton and Holy Grail
Originally posted by Wikipedia:
Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a 1975 British comedy film written and performed by the comedy group Monty Python (Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones and Michael Palin), and directed by Gilliam and Jones. It was conceived during the gap between the third and fourth series of their popular BBC television programme Monty Python's Flying Circus.

In contrast to the group's first film, And Now for Something Completely Different, a compilation of sketches from the first two television series, Holy Grail was composed of new material, and is therefore considered the first "proper" film by the group. It generally parodies the legend of King Arthur's quest to find the Holy Grail. The film was a success on its initial release, and Idle used the film as the inspiration for the 2005 Tony Award-winning musical Spamalot.

As Eiríkr inn Skjaldsveinn and Sir Scarfalot said. "Lady of the lake" is from the Arthurian folklore and books, and I'll let it out of this "guide". Thanks :) and sorry for being too late :P

Dude, the Lady of the Lake is a reference to the story of Excalibur from the King Arthur Pendragon mythos. The Witcher copied from there, and it's public domain folklore.

Excalibur, btw, is NOT the sword in the stone; that's a different story (same king tho)

Isnt the Lady of the Lake achievement also a direct reference to The Witcher book series and The Witcher 1 where Geralt gets the silver sword Aerondight from a Dryad called The Lady of The Lake or is it just coincidence?

By harass wandering peasants, do I have to engage them in battle?

The lady of the lake was in actual Arthurian legend and wasn't necessarily specific to Monty Python.

Add this to the guide please.

I think lady of the lake achievment (Give a companion a great sword) would go along with the "help help I'm being repressed" because Arthur says,"The lady of the lake, her arm clad in the purest shimmering samite held a loft Excalibur from the bosom of the water signifying from devine providence that I Arthur was to carry Excalibur." (1:43) then the peasant says,"Strange women laying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government!"
