The question isn't: "What is it?" The question is: "What is it...becoming?"
What we do know about the object is this: It can be classified as a Level 10, Class 2 Base, loaded
with all the essential components to survive and thrive on any hostile planet. It also has designated
spaces for expansion as leveling-up occurs, and is a good all-around starter base.

What we don't know is whether or not it is a structure (or an abandoned vessel) that is slowly turning
into an organism, or an organism that is slowly rearranging its cells to become a structure.
All tests have proven to be inconclusive at best. One theory holds that it is some type of
inter-dimensional being that has become disfigured when passing through the boundaries
of our reality. Whatever the answer may be, the transitional phase we find this object in is a
slow process and seems to take years to complete. Therefore, we have determined that the
base is safe to use and poses no threat to life, except, of course, for the abundance of weapons
that are installed upon it.

The organism and the actual structure itself contain a large amount of stone dust, which leads us to
believe that the defensive capabilities of the exterior of the structure may be equal to that of cement.
This, of course, means that upgrading the exterior to reinforced concrete would be a simple matter
with the right materials and a Multi-tool.

Upgrades and Expansion: There are designated areas for
installation of Repair Console, Repair Module, Repair Station,
Deconstructor, Pentaxid Tank, Shield Generator, and Furnace.

Additional Space, as well as the Core, are in the basement, and are
right next to elevator to lessen time spent digging.

I thought it might be helpful to provide a guide for placing this and other Bases in game...
F2 to spawn your blueprint.
INSERT or DELETE will move the blueprint to face north,south,east,west.
HOME will move it away from you
END will move it toward you.
PAGEUP moves the bp up
PAGEDOWN moves the bp down and into ground.
Click mouse to set.

Ideally, you want to be on fairly level ground or some
digging may be required. On this base, the lower level
of blocks is wood and should be buried up to the line
separating the wood from concrete blocks. Leaving a
Base without good and widespread contact with the
ground can lead to problems with structural integrity
and the Base could collapse.
