Objective: As Yugoslavia, occupy all your neighbouring countries (Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Italy and Greece).
Remember that it is only necessary to occupy the land required so it is possible to have this achievement fire whilst at war.

I recommend reading the guide first to see the strategy.


1. Take Western Focus
2. Take the fascist demagogue (costs 187 pp)
3. Take Friendship Treaty With Italy, Attract Foreign Capital, Limited Self-Goverment.
4. You can delete about half of your army and have some in queue.
5. After the last focus it's done, go to decisions and press Prepare For Civil War and then Ignite the Civil War (just don't take the guy with the extra stability yet because you need less then 50% stability to start the cw)
6. While at civil war, justify on Austria, REMOVE the Fascist Demagogue and win the civil war.


1. You should take the focuses that give you manpower and the extra political power and Crush the Ustasa.
2. Build your army, have around 14-16 divisions with the basic infantry template put them at the border with Austria.
3. Before attacking, join the Axis (this will make Austria guard the border with Germany so it will be easier for you to take Austria)
4. Don't call the Germans in your war with Austria.
5. After you declared on Austria, justify on Italy but make sure to choose the option to take back your recon state ( Istria ) because it's faster and it won't expire.
6. You should deal with Austria before the justification on Italy is done. Annex all of Austria.


1. Now the painful part starts: the war with Italy.
2. Have an army of 24 with the infantry template (even if they don't have the max equipment) and another of like 8-10 divisions of cavlary or infantry if you want.
2. Let them enter a bit in your territory and in Austria and then call the germans (they will lose the defenses bonuses and probably attack you.
3. Take Zara asap and guard your ports until Italy annexes Albania.
4. The fight will be pretty difficult since you go through mountains, but with the german help will be a lot easier.
5. Just make sure to push a lot.
6. Sometimes the German AI won't attackm but it may give you fully trained expenditionary troops. Use them to make encirclements or try to push harder.
7. The war will take some time, but you should be able to finish it after Hungary becomes fascist.
8. Don't lose hope and defeat Italy.
9. In this war, Germany will lose a lot of manpower and they won't be able even to demand the Sudetenland, which is great for you ( they will have like 55-65 divisions and low manpower, but enough to defeat Italy)
10. After you defeat Italy, Germany will most likely have more warscore than you and they will puppet Slovenia and a part of Austria ( with South Tyrol core state) and take the island of Rhodes (between Greece and Turkey), Lybia and Ethiopia.
11. I recommend to puppet Italy, you can later annex them and steal their manpower and navy.
12. Before ending Italy, justify on Hungary IF they are fascist (it will take like 30 days to declare so it will be faster) AND choose the Communist Demagogue, you can guess why.


1. Hungary is very, but very weak, you will smash them.
2. Of course, don't call Germany in the war.
3. Annex all of Hungary and after that, leave the Axis.


1. Until this point, I suggest to invest in Industrial focuses and that with military factories and be Communist by now due a referendum.
2. Justify on Greece (Romania will come in their defense)
3. Take the Non-discrimitaning Officer Promotions focus.
4. Now the math starts: when there are about 60 days before you can attack Greece, take the focus Join The Allies.
5. Even if Greece is guaranteed by France or United Kingdom, they won't come in their defense since you are in the Allies.
6. After the justification is done, declare war when you are in the Allies, very important.
7. Guard your border with Romania and focus on Greece.
8. UK might kick you from the Allies, but they still won't join the defensive war against Greece.
9. Watch out, after you defeat Greece, Romania might be on the way to become fascist.
10. Bulgaria will be fascist and join the Axis.


1. Germany is weaker because it doesn't have Austria and Czechoslovakia.
2. They will do the focus War with the USSR and will attack the soviets through Kaliningrad (Ostpreussen) because the soviets will have annexed the Baltic States.
3. They will lose a lot of men and troops there.
4. You might not be able to finish the war with Romania because they are pretty powerful to defend the Carpathians and they might join the Axis.
5. You can guess: join the Commitern.
6. The only border with Germany is where Austria used to be. Just defend it until you and the soviets deal with Romania and Bulgaria.
7. Remember you only need to ocuppy the territories, so if you don't take all of Romania you might ask the Soviets for their territory (like Bassarabia and Bucovina).
8. With the help of the Soviets, you can beat Germany.
9. The Soviet Union might attack Poland because they have a claim on it, and this will make them join the Axis.
10. Remember to take the puppet states of Germany ( Slovenia, Deutschsozialen Austria and (maybe) Greater Albania) and the island of Rhodes (they might have it).
11. At this point, you should have annexed all of Italy even if they were a puppet.
12. If you are lucky enough, you will have all the necessary territories and get the achievement.


1. If you have the achievement, then it's not necessary to read this.
2. After you defeat the Axis, you will have a peace conferrence.
3. Take the puppet states of Germany.
4. Puppet Germany.
5. The Soviet Union might puppet Romania and maybe Bulgaria.
6. If Poland joined the war, they will take their claims and puppet the rest.
7. The best strategy is to build a bit and when the russians attack Finland, you should attack the Soviets, so leave the Comitern.
8. Since Romania and Bulgaria aren't their core territories, the Soviets won't have the buff from the war support on defense.
9. Ocuppy all of Romania and Bulgaria and you should have the achievement.


1. This strategy worked on the newest version of HOI4 of this moment (1.7.1)
2. I know that since the MTG release, Germany is op and can take the Soviets with no problems, that's why I think this is a way to weaken them a lot ( take Austria and make them fight wars for you).
