This is often happening if you have to many workshop maps in your cache folder.
I recommend to delete your cache folder: ...\Documents\My Games\KillingFloor2\KFGame\Cache
and start kf2 again. Depending on how many workshopmaps you have subscriped to the start could take very long.

this map seems to be crashing my game. When i load in and hit solo it crashes instantly. I am not sure why it would crash and this map looks super cool. If anyone has any idea why this is please hmu.

This map is awesome, it actually forces players to play their perk right and support each other, which ofc nobody is doing which is why most people will never see the last area but anyway well done, i wish tripwire was doing that

Yeah, it's all good. As I said, it's not borderline impossible or gamebreaking. It wasn't a really big issue for me. It caught me by surprise the first time I played through it, but it's definitely doable.

Hi Rex. Thanks for the Comment, but at least for now, i'm done with this map.
Its really close to what i want it months ago.
I checked the area 2 volume and there are enough areas in official progression and holdout maps which are the same size or even smaller.
Its not easy. But for me this is no bug or issue. Its like KF2 on hoe or suicidal should be.
Though, its for sure more easy with a group. With 6 players area 4 is much harder than 2.
So except for bug fixing there wont be any updates on this map the next weeks.

I kind of second what UHC said about the second area. It could be expanded a bit or you could find someway to loop it like a ladder or ramp leading to the top of the building. Or connect the stairs to an overlook or something with a ramp leading to it. With a door and stairs or a hole in the roof that leads to that upper level of the building that you can't access. That would probably take the pressure off a bit. Anything to expand it a little.
Though it's not borderline impossible as it is (at least solo, I haven't tried with a group).

The map is no easy at all, thats right.
I tried my best to make it as hard as official holdout/progression maps.
but i tried it as assault, zerk and demo and it was possible on HoE... but yes, it was very hard. And it should be!
Going back to an area before is not like progression maps work. But you can play this map also in Endless, every door is open from the beginning in endless.
