Most fruits and veggies can be acquired by purchasing them in the general store or in stores that open further in game, by finding them in the endless forest, or as rewards for reaching certain skill levels (check your mailbox!). Here I will only be mentioning items if they have specific, limited ways of being obtained or if there are ways to get them early.

Talking to Gobbys (the goblin dudes who show up at the Town Square, Market, and Tavern) is a great way to get some crops early.

• Carrot: talk to Dudley the day after you got the fishing rod from him and he'll give you a few carrots and some tilled soil.
  
• Kacoomba: can be purchased or won* in Port City Deluca .

*Winning: Prizes can be won by spending Deluca Coins at the Wheel of Loot or the slot machine next to it. These restock every Saturday, and while you can spin the Wheel of Loot multiple times, the slot machine can only be used one time per week.

• Goldenbell: talk to Olivia enough times (on different days) and she'll give you one. Olivia is the girl with a pointy witch hat who stands next to the whirlybugs in Endless Forest:

Talk to Dudley after building him a house to get the fishing rod.

Keep a good stock of fish; many are seasonal, and people will post quests for dishes that are made with fish from out of season.

Animal products are produced by animals. Raising the affection of the animals by giving them the food they request improves the chance of them giving the rare golden version of their drop. An animal with a light exclamation mark above its head will drop an item when interacted with:



An animal with a darker/orange mark above its head will request a vegetable or fruit when interacted with. Giving the desired food will increase its affection level. Animals do not request the same item every time, so keeping a stock of all fruits and veggies is recommended.

• Cows: milk, golden milk
  
• Pigs: shroom, golden shroom
  
• Chickens: egg, golden egg

Animals can be purchased from the animal merchant at Port City Deluca, a location unlocked by upgrading the Air Balloon to 3 stars. Shops restock every Saturday and Sunday.

You do not need an animal pen to purchase or own the respective animal; however, without a pen, the animals will freely wander around your town, making it tedious to track them all down every day.

• Dandelions: I don't believe they are seasonal as I have caught them in at least two different seasons. Bug-catching in town
  
• Golden Frog: fishing in town
  
• Floating Petal: fishing in Endless Forest
  
• Acorn: chopping regular or magic (purple) trees
  
• Cave Wart: fishing in Dust Cavern. There is a small chance that Toad will give you a gift when you talk to him; one of the gifts he gives is cave wart. Toad is the guy who stands in front of the mine entrance:
