Don't forget to rate and/or favorite as per your opinion! Also consider following as I do occasionally release new mods

-- YOU NEED TO START A NEW GAME FOR THIS TO WORK --
1) Go to MODS, 2) Activate this mod, 3) Play the game with the mod!

If that doesn't work, PLEASE VISIT whoward69's guide here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=465972

If that STILL doesn't work, PLEASE VISIT Thalassicus' guide on making mods work if they don't here: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=440525

This SHOULD WORK WITH ALL VERISIONS OF CIV 5 (BNW, G AND K, AND VANILLA)

IF YOU HAVE A MAC, you can make this mod work BUT it does take a fair amount of work to do so. Please visit http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=477763 It will explain how to do it. Or you could just try it the regular way; it may work, you never know.

INFO ABOUT THIS MOD
===========================================================================

This mod adds the INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT IMPROVEMENT.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
UNIQUE IMPROVEMENT: INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
An Industrial District provides +2 Production, costs 3 Gold in maintenance, and will consume the unit that is building it. It does not improve any resources that it is built on. They provide +1 Production once Railroad is researched, +1 Production once Electronics are researched, +1 Production once Computers are researched, and +2 Production once Globalization is researched.
COMMENTS
===========================================================================
It has always erked me that there wasn't an exclusive improvement for production (aside from the manufactory) so I made this mod.
If you have any comments, balancing suggestions, etc. mention them in the comments.
Well I think It is justified that they use gold as the state uses all the production and makes no money of of it.
So, the problem is they are pretty seriously unbalanced. They also don't really do what they are supposed to do. They should generate +1 gold in addition to production, not cost GPT. But they should also generate unhappiness equal to the amount of production generated.
I'm curious as to what an "industrial district" is in relation to this mod. I grew up next to an Industrial Park. It was mostly warehouses and buildings with busiess to business kinds of companies. Is this what inspired your mod or is it ment to be more of a factory district with heavy industry and manufactureing?
