Ok so, There are TONS of amazing features in this game, but in it is the lack of a RUN button.
What now?
You'l need to buy, unlock, or discover secrets to travel quickly instead of wasting your day getting from the mountains to the beach!!!

Starting out!
Starting out, you'll have to walk. So now what?
YOU USE YOUR SPRINT!!!
Or, more correctly, you work on your exp to lvl up that sprint to lower its cooldown.
(You will need 100exp to lvl this up)
This will allow you a faster travel by running through map territories!

This is a bit dangerous though, as you will miss items/prey and might overshoot your destination.
Winter Shortcut~
During winter, the rivers and lakes freeze over. Slippery and unreliable, right? WRONG
This is an ideal route! By sprinting or simply running, you gain speed.
Traveling along the main rivers, can get you nearly anywhere in the map faster then infinite sprints!
Once you master the drifting, you can quickly navigate the winter without worry of the time!
Warps
Costly, but effective.
This form of transportation allows you to instantly warp to locations. Each one is different though!

Active Skills
Temple warp
Canyon warp
Prairie warp
Island warp

Mines
Mine warp lvl 25: 100 Mole$
Mine warp lvl 50: 300 Mole$
Mole warp lvl 75: 600 Mole$
Thicc Cat Mode
The fastest speed you can reach, according to cattails-game.fandom.com , is 635%.
This is a combination of having 150% hunger eating Valerians on a full stomach, while using a Dev Sprint Skill.
Without Dev Sprint, you can still reach 135% speed with Valerians and normal Sprint.

Now, imagine THAT on ICE!!!

instead, use the code "FOURFASTFEET" as thats the method to obtain the devsprint.

If you have 10 swimming skill, you can use water to speed up. can also be done at 9, just get out of the water every now and again.

Hell... yes... I am not the only one who notices how helpful water is in winter. This is really helpful! Especially with the task board, I can't tell you how many times I've been cutting it painfully close. :steamfacepalm:
