설명
Hello! this is the new 14 Large Warehouse layout, updated for use with only the Mass Transit DLC (just for four lane roads)!

This asset requires NO MODS to function correctly, and boasts 91% traffic flow with over 1100 trucks in the system. It provides space for three toll booths, allowing you to charge on both entrance AND exit from the network. This increases your funding and pays for the roads themselves, as well as covering part of services costs. There is a front end services area with roads leading back to the inner section of the farm.

This thing was carefully planned; there is more than meets the eye. For example, the roads were designed with the shortest return truck route time. This allows vehicles to get back to the production facilities faster, and you'll run into fewer issues with "Not enough buyers for products!".

This design also cuts travel time down by removing unnecessary curves from the route; this shortens travel distance further.

This design will support 91% average traffic flow at peak usage (thats with the network full of incoming trucks, and also dumping all warehouses simultaneously to create another 520 trucks on the road due to warehouse emptying) WITHOUT USING TM:PE! Using traffic Manager will only improve this, as the lanes are all laid out to provide optimal traffic flow. all lanes created as turn only where needed to encourage maximum lane usage.

Vehicles DO sometimes switch lanes needlessly though. This is a known issue, at the tip during peak traffic flows there will be a slight bottleneck on one side.

I added long turnoff lanes everywhere needed to prevent tailbacks from blocking other warehouse exits and entrances.

This whole area can be covered by two services buildings at the front (fire and police), I made the roads short enough so there was coverage everywhere with only one station of each type. This goes for trash as well, one incinerator will cover everything easily.

This entire area with all services installed only takes 9 mw of power to run, including water! This means that one wind turbine will cover it along with an incinerator; and that the money generated from toll booths make this area entirely self sufficient both financially, in terms of services, and power.

I spent a lot of time planning this thing out, I hope you folks enjoy it! If you like it feel free to comment what else you'd like to see, and consider dropping by my twitch sometime to tell me to play more skylines at twitch.tv/lemonpopz

Going to give it a try. I have all my Unique Factories in the middle of Supply and Outbound Warehouses. That works to a point well, what you have is an awesome idea to resolve what I have been wanting. the only things left is to get my supply chain from/to the raw materials. This however fixes a lot! nice job.

Hope it works, if not, that's ok, nothing I take for granted except the Vanilla game we pay for, else it is someone just trying to create and help.

I'm subscribing just because you used the song from Requiem for a Dream in the video.

Does something like this also exist for the (HUUGE) industries?

@AntonFinn Not to my knowledge, I'm sorry!

I have the Mass Transit DLC, but this mod will not load up. I have other mods too. Are there known conflict issues?

@lemonpopz Thanks anyway! One of the dirt roads is off by one square. I moved it back one and it worked :D The dirt roads at the front needed to be hooked up at both ends, not just one, to allow the utilities to get back to the area, but that's easy.

@shinian I actually couldn't make it in the editor, I had to make it in game, then do something weird and crazy that I don't remember to import a saved game into asset editor... or a custom asset... I remember I had to install a mod maybe? I'm so sorry, I really don't remember. I did find out by googling though, 100% certain of that! I bet some of the roads grid distances changed just slightly and thats making it not fit anymore. I might be able to get on this weekend to check it out and see what can be done :)

@Lemonpopz I know that feeling, no worries :D I think it just looks different in practice from your demo video. I needed to actually connect the dirt roads on the other end back to the outgoing roads so they can lop around. As for warehouses, yeah maybe something changed. I can see how it should work, but two warehouses on the middle back dont line up with where the road is now, for some reason. Or I didn't try hard enough, lol. I don't think its a big deal in any case, nothing to push you to go editing or anything.

I'm curious though. When I've tried making my own asset I only hav enough room for something half that size in the asset editor. Not sure how you got something so big from the in game editor. I'ma noob though. I'm sure I'll figure it out.

Its been over a year since I've even looked at it @shinian , but when I built it the warehouses all worked and the the utilities should've been able to loop around back through! Unless you're using left handed driving I believe. However, I know like 6 game updates have come out since I released this and opened skylines last, and if several people can confirm that its not working I'll hop back on and update it :)

This game is fantastic, and I still love it to this day. CitiesinaSnap is still running strong, the competitive event I created, and I'm proud to see where its grown over the last year. But I personally haven't had the inspiration to kick the game back open in a long time. I miss it, just very little free time nowadays.
