Hello, It’s your boy - ‘Stream’ AKA ‘In It To Win It’, here.

It’s been almost 2.5 years since I started playing PUBG. We all know that - PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds has always had really different states and with every single update, the game seems to work totally different.

As a competitive PUBG player, I have been asked many times about how to increase your FPS in PUBG. Since end of Alpha and beginning of Beta, I have dealt with almost every possible type of FPS stuttering, freeze and other issues. Many problems you can fix yourself, but you need to remember one thing - Only devs can fully optimize the game and fix all of the problems. You can get a lot smoother experience by following all of the steps from my guide which is a huge gathering of the most popular and the least popular ‘fixes’ that can improve your smoothness and increase your FPS in PUBG.

Funny thing… Even ‘placebo’ changes that Have 0.01% impact on your performance, MIGHT improve your ingame performance. Funny, right? PUBG is weird :)

I have read a lot of forums (Nvidia/Windows/PUBG) and I am gonna be honest with you - It’s 2019 and PUBG still have a lot of problems. My friends with ‘NASA PCs’ are not free from problems, but this guide helped them a lot so…

Dear Pubg players - I have a special gift for you :) Hope my guide is gonna help you and you’ll not be as frustrated as you are when you die because of game performance or suddenly ping raises and freezes.

The guide is a result of an organized group mostly amateurs (Idea maker; Content/fix provider; group of testers; designer). We have not been paid to make this guide. We made it to help PUBG community at dealing with performance problems the game suffers. We really love PUBG, we wish it good luck and we wanna have the same chances during fight with every player! Me and my group remember periods of the game in which Better PC = More chance to kill somebody. Sadly, the game still has problems and somebody had to provide a little help to PUBG Devs and huge PUBG Community.

I have tested many things from my guide since Vikendi update. What I noticed? Every single update, game worked totally different and some FPS fixes worked, but the next update you had to revert them into previous previous ones. Weird, right? I don’t really know, but it really worked.


The guide has been supported and approved by few pro players and many big communities.

This feeling when the game has been downgraded since Beta and it's more PC Setup heave than ever before. Ofc there's an issue with the game and always has been. Not even gonna mention updates which could literally kill -20% fps from the game. If you checked the guide, there are many PC setups mentioned and on every of it the performance sucked. And we're talking about some really strong setups.

To you all having problems even in 2021, I suggest a CPU and RAM upgrade if you have a 6GB GPU you're good in the department. I suggest at least an i7-9700 which goes up to 4.7GHz and 16GB DDR4 RAM. It's what I have and there are absolutely no performance problems.If there's anything at this point,it's probably on your end,as in your rig needs an upgrade. I used to think it was the dev's fault and for some time it probably was but at this point there's definitely no issue with the game.

I haven't updated the guide YET, I have some new good tweaks, tested ofc.
Answering your question - 'Low Latency Mode' is currently 'lesser than 1' max pre rendered frame.

In the past, you always wanted to use 2-3 max pre rendered frame for Single Player games, to get more 'smooth' effect, increasing a bit input lag, sadly, and 1 for online competitive games.

What's the rule now then?
Almost the same, but in general using 1, or lesser than 1, pre rendered frame in era of PC setups that can hold 144-240 fps with 144-240hz screens, is like pissing to your own bed.
You know your setup, you gotta test what's the best for you.

Also, keep in mind that PUBG currently have huge performance problems, it's patch and server releated problem that's being investigated.

It's not necessary.
You have problems with FPS? Fell free to take a look.
You can not say a word about being a consumer since I've not been paid a single dollar to make this guide, Buddy.

Instead of complaining, appreciate the fact you got 35 pages of wisdom that's been tested by an organised group of people and approved by big communities and pro players, totally for free :)

The link isn't easy to find. Do you want it to be easily accessible or not? Stop being lazy and do it right? No one has to read anything you put out. It's all about the consumer's experience and not about your stubborn principle. But go ahead and keep being a ♥♥♥♥ to people who have a criticism of your post. See how far that attitude takes you in life. +1

I do not really know If this really is that huge problem to people to scroll down, especially when in the main description it's being said that the link is down below + it's also described WHY the full version of the guide is not posted on steam, but only on github? People always have reasons to complain, even If they get 35 pages guide xD
Stop being lazy.

And it's long since there's an introducing, some info about me, info about the guide being tested by a group of people, info about supporters + table of content so people knows what's inside the guide.

Few big communities did not have problem at scrolling down to get the link to the guide, so why you do? :D I'm not gonna change anything. It's gonna stay as it is.

It's all said why the guide is not on steam + it's said where do you find the link to the full guide.

Why is this so long if the actual guide is on github? Also, perhaps put the link to github before you put a link for donations. ::shrug::
