SS Harlixton

September 23, 1866:

Three months later, fallowing on the success of the SS Hatfield, the STL introduced Harlixton into service. Introducing the SS Harlixton. Although a nearly identical ship to her sister, she has been improved with various features: an enlarged and grander staircase, a lounge located on the hurricane deck, etc. Upon her entry into service, she prooved to be a wildly popular liner with all of her voyages sold out until her demise the following year.

May 13, 1867:

The Harlixton had just begun another out bound voyage. All was going well until she ran into a a patch of fog and slammed into a rock pile 1 hour out from port. With the loss of 6 passengers and 2 crew members, the loss of the Harlixton would remain the first and only disaster for the STL until the loss of the Humboldt in 1889.

As you spawn in the ship please note:
1) The ship will rock a bit, let it do its thing and it will right itself out
2) To start the engines, make you way down to the engine room, engage both fuel pump buttons and turn the key
3) There are reverse, torque, and RPS boosts in the engine room. Push the button and somethings gonna happen (If you engage the RPS it make the engine run much quieter)
4) If you travel long distances, you will note that the ship will list. she isn't sinking, the fuel in her tanks may be lopsided. Just shut off the side that is down in the water and she should right herself out. It is a balancing act at times.
5) The Scuttle button is in the Captain's room on the bridge.
