BEI C-Series Miner - Model 3b

Thank you for taking a look at the Model 3b.

It is a simple industrial mining vehicle, with lots of features to get the job done. Outfitted with a PAM script, it makes mining an asteroid simple and easy. On the other hand, if you are old school this little workhorse can dig tunnels to get to that precious ore without hassle.

Simple skirting on the sides of the vehicle keeps rocks from dinging up the components. Skirting is easy to replace, but a dented work vehicle is a used work vehicle. 4 powerful mining drills dig a tunnel that will never leave the Model 3b stuck in a hole somewhere. A medium cargo capacity means that you can get at least 50 tonnes of ore moved in a pass (on 1x realistic). The Model 3b can operate in 0.33x gravity, so it can be used on moons, however since it is intended for space it can only lift at 0.11x gravity when at full capacity.

5 ejectors keeps useless rocks and stone from filling up your load. 2 powerful hydrogen engines gives this miner a real truck sound and diesel rig feeling when in operation. Batteries keep charge by the hydrogen engines when on those long working hours, so you will be able to work overtime on the job site for that sweet hour and a half pay rate. Recessed spotlights ensure that these lights will not get broken by random scrapes while in a dark hole.
