Make sure that you use newest mod version. If you still see mod out of date in mod menu, you are using OLD version. Use this Peter Han Handy mod updater to get newest mod version : https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2018291283
Sometime if this mod mod updater provide old mod version, then try force update!

If you have some crash with this mod I need Player.log.Which is located %appdata%\..\locallow\klei\Oxygen Not Included
Location is valid only for windows. Without Player log I will probably ignore any bug report.

This mod is inspired by Material color mod : https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/101902-mods-etiams-modpack/ and https://github.com/EtiamNullam/Etiam-ONI-Modpack . I like idea of this mods but I dont like how it looks. It is too much colors.

I always need more ceiling ligths color. I need red which indicate danger, yellow for warning and green for ok status. So I made this mod. Off course if you want make disco for your duplicant you can too. (DISCO is death, but POLKA never Dies!!!!)

Mod still support old behavior: Color of ceiling light is affected by building material. (Look at picture.) This can be turned off in configuration file:
<LegacyModeEnabled>false</LegacyModeEnabled>.

With Banhi's update, Klei added new possibilities. Namely Color picker. With this new possibility, Color for ceiling light can be simply selected with color picker.

Well, I want to write a very long and detailed description, but I am a lazy person and this is a very boring work. So I add some new picture which is self-descriptive.

Maybe some little explanation :

Bits 1 - 4 (look at third picture)

Color ceiling light can use a new ribbon automation wire, which consists of four-wire. if one wire becomes green, the corresponding color will be chosen for Ceiling light. if more then one wire has a green signal, the highest bit wins!
So if there 1000 signal green color will be chosen.
if there is a 0010 signal, the yellow color will be chosen.
If there is an 1111 signal, purple (or is it blue) color will be chosen because 0001 is the highest bit and it is purple.

off color
if Ceiling light is turned off (manually or by automation) this color will be chosen, unless this color is set to "Special color - logical 0", then bit 1 color will be chosen.

Color transition time : 0 mean off. Other values affect how long transition takes.

if you are lost simply press Reset button and Color ceiling light will be , hmm well reseted!!!

If you are still lost, simply ignore everything above and set color for bit 1. Now you have the same functionality as it was in old good times. But with color picker!!!!


And as always for my mods : You can configure colors in configuration file, which appears in same folder as mod.
