For ppl confused: while on the battle setup screen, press f to enter freecam, then go to the location shown on the screenshot. Find the object (in this it's the small brown pom pom in the middle, ontop of a stump) move the camera close until it starts to glow and make noise, wait, and it will be unlocked.
