This is a video showcase created to honour the colourful views of Eastshade's day-night cycle.

At game speed it takes around one hour for the daily cycle to run its course, although this varied from location to location.
To speed up the cycle, a series of screenshots were taken for each scene - one every 30 seconds - roughly covering midnight to midnight. The resulting slides were then played in very quick succession creating a time-lapse sequence.

Watch as the landscape changes from night to day, goes through the noon solar eclipse, then brightens up again before it reverts back to night, revealing rich, beautiful colours and graphics.
