Transparent Blocks

Beskrivning
It is a glass block that can make a neighboring armor block transparent.

I used a block-face-optimization system from Space Engineers to implement this.




How to:
Adjacent armor surfaces must be completely covered with glass face to apply transparent effect.

ex:
- The square face must be covered with square glass. The triangular glass surface can not cover the square face complety.
- Square glass surfaces can cover square armor surfaces or triangular armor surfaces.
- Some half faces and all of rounded faces are does not applied. they are exceptions by armor-face-optimization system from Space Engineers.




Compatible with Large and Small Grid

I want to like this mod but it seems that matching non-square faces are no longer culled and so always show up. As a result, you can't really use any kind of slopes on the exterior.

In the "cockpit" portion of your video, how do you get the armor block triangle faces to be hidden?

Alright, what I really need is for these blocks to allow me to completely see through sloped blocks instead of making it mostly transparent except for the sides.

No. this is non-functional block.

Not planned. This mode uses SE's face optimization algorithm. I'll try, but I can't guarantee it.

Any chance of a half slab block? I want to use this in my lounge but don't want to give up an entire block space for it.

great work, realy love it. just one thing isn't that good, wish there was a was to limit the range of visibility other than building a second hull, first bridge i tried made the ship completely 'invisible' :D
