Sorry about all the posts... I don't do many comments so I didn't know there was a limit when I wrote all this up. heh

Anyways, Gone Home is on my list of games to get. So I'll own it here in the near future. Thank you again for making the video series on it. I enjoyed it greatly. Keep up the good work man! ^_^

Also, I thought your commentary was very clean and flowed well with the game itself. That also really helped me to enjoy watching these. I had watched the first part of a Gone Home video before these and while I laughed at times and things like that... the video didn't really draw me into the story of the game like these did. So I would suggest to any that may be interested in the game or want to know about it but don't plan on buying it to at least give it a chance and watch some if not all of the first video in this series. There's a good chance they may get hooked like I did. The game really is something special from what I saw and I also got that same warm feeling from it.

I personally thought it translated very well as a video. To be honest I started watching just to get an idea on the game since I didn't really know what to expect and was hesitant to buy it because of that fact. When I started the first one up and saw it was an hour I didn't know if I was going to make it through. lol However, before I knew it the first one was over and I was really interested in what was happening. In the third video I think you mentioned something about possibly stopping at the attic. I didn't remember seeing a fourth video so I started getting worried I wasn't going to see what happened in the ending. Needless to say really glad you continued on.

I'm an old school RPG player, so I know what you're talking about. It's really important to have a story that draws you in and keeps your attention through the whole game. I'll also agree with you that the voice acting was some of the best I've heard. It really did a great job of capturing the emotion of the situations. If you didn't know any better I'm sure you'd think it wasn't even a game, but rather something another person was standing there and having a conversation about.

Wow, thank you! I didn't know how well it would translate to someone watching rather than playing, but I knew not everyone would be as keen to pick it up as I was and I wanted to show them what they were missing. Particularly people who don't play games and don't really get how powerful and different they can be because all they ever hear about is C.O.D.

I've still got warm and fuzzy feelings from it and already want to go back in just to spend more time in the house and retrace my steps to see how different the early details seem with the whole story in mind.

Definitely do pick it up at some point because it's the interactivity that really makes it and playing at night with your headphones in, listening to the house creak and the storm outside whilst poking around and poring over the families documents is so immersive, eerie, and beautiful; it's like nothing else.

It's weird to see them and kinda hard to explain. You have to focus and I start crossing my eyes and then un crossing them... eventually you start to make out a shape and then you just have to work on pulling out that shape from the image. That's the best way I can try to explain.

BTW, just spent the last 3 and a half hours watching your walkthrough of the game. I'm sure I would have enjoyed playing it myself, but sometimes there are games you just like to watch, like a movie as someone else plays, and enjoy them that way. So thank you for taking the time to make the videos. I really enjoyed everything about the story, the games, and the videos. Maybe once I forget about the game some I'll pick it up.

Ahh amazing, thank you =] I've no idea how to see them or what they even look like when you can see them so I feel like I'm missing out. I thought the first one may be a heart but only because it's made of them, the second I had no clue.

I used to love magic eyes. Amazing these actually work. First one is a big heart. Second one is a shark. XD
