I'm theorizing its because the bones in the eli model are different, and so the boots bind to his feet (foot?) wrong.
to verify my idea, can you tell me if he has a normal boot on his normal foot? if so, i think his prosthetic leg is messing with the long fall boot he's trying to wear on it.
i just equipped the long fall boots on eli playermodel and this happend
the weird thing going into the sky is the long fall boot
if it really is caused by aperture continued though; can you maybe give me some more information?
like, what steps would i have to do to make this happen on my end?
