Omschrijving
Arctic Station 11 is research station located near Outpost. You are tasked to find out what went wrong, when connections went down.


Outdoor area map with 2 buildings. 2 paths leading through ice to a cave system.
Circular map design to help kiting zeds.
- 4 trader pods.
- Few ammo drops and 1 gun drop location.
- Official map Outpost is referenced and can bee seen in the distance, located on the mountain.
- Survival, Endless and Versus compatible.

@Edgesaurus Rex-Lord I have new ideas for the map. I'm just now working on the Winter War mod for RS2 but maybe in the future I could do some kind of update to this map.

The atmosphere is great, but the map is a bit too small. Would be amazing if it was expanded a bit with more connections and some way to loop it around to the beginning.

Map is quite too hard due to lack of ammo crate in this map.

@Kung_Pow I just set up the paths for doors just like in kf2 vanilla maps. It might be something to do with the door sizes. The backdoor is probably the small door you welded. It might be that they choose to go through big doors first. Anyway, I'm glad you liked the map.

Finally a map where welding a door actually works like how it worked in kf1! I welded the back door to one of the facilities and decided to hold out in a lounge area. I fully expected the zeds to focus on the welded door first, and hoped I could hold the area for a wave. To my surprise the zeds ignored the welded door and re-routed themselves to the open door in the front of the facility, allowing me a perfect hold spot for the rest of the map. This is the very first map in kf2 where I have seen this. No idea if this was intentional or not, but well done! Reminded me of kf1 bioticslab where it was common to weld the side doors near the spawn area in order to filter the zeds down the long hall. Again well done! This is a very fun map! I saw that this was entered in the new grounds mapping contest. I wish you the best of luck!

Ice Cave came out in December 2011, that's more than 2 years after the game was released, it's perfectly reasonable for someone who only played KF1 around when it first came out to never have played that map. Even if he had played the game after Ice Cave's release it's not hard to believe he wouldn't remember the map by name or that he would've never even played that one particular map since the game already had a lot of both official and custom maps by that time. Dunno why you're here questioning him like this.
