Recently during Archeage 101 Live on Twitch we’ve been working on damage mitigation and reduction and crits and the theory behind if it is better to stack Crit or if it is better to stack Def Pen.

Today’s show gets way deep in that starting at 1:23:06 and the good news about today’s show is that we found an error in the math for the spreadsheet which is a HUGE find considering it is about 8% damage mitigation right off the top.

This is going to break down Crit Rate vs Def Pen and which one is better.  What maximums you can get for Def Pen, what is the most def pen you can get if you get 150% Crit Damage and so on.

I’m still working on the updated Spreadsheet that will companion this and go along with it.
