Gameplay Basics

Directionial keys :
This game was made for a qwerty keyboard and there's no option to change the mapping in game. A simple solution consists in changing your keyboard's language, here's how...
On your bottom right corner there should be an abbreviation of your current keyboard's language, click on it. If you already have english registered, click on it. If you don't, click on language preferences to open a new window, then on "Add a language" to add english.

Remember to do it before launching the game, otherwise you could encounter a bug where you can't move.

Controls :
  • Mouse
    Mouvement : Look around
    Left Click : Throw the moko you're holding / Skip crow dialogue
    Right Click : Drop the moko you're holding

  • Keyboard
    Directionial keys : Move around
    Space : Jump / Skip crow dialogue
    Shift : Sprint ( makes jumps much easier )

Gameplay :
  • You're playing as a blind girl and to see where you're going you need to make sounds. For this : jump, walk, run, throw mokos... if you stop moving everything will turn black.
  • When making jumps, hold shift to sprint, which will make all your jumps much easier; if the screen turns black while you're on a small platform, just jump to turn back the light without risking falling.
  • Mokos appear in almost all levels and walk towards you when you get close, you don't need to pick them up : they climb for a ride on their own ! So just walk next to them to "pick" one up. They're used either to see ( by throwing them in the distance ) or for puzzles ( by throwing them in hamster wheels to open doors ).
  • Water kills you, going too astray will either kill you or make you hit an invisible wall.
  • Enemies can only be avoided, you can't attack them, you can't distract them with mokos. Just carefully walk around them.
  • There are many checkpoints, everytime you walk next to a campfire or talk to the crow.
Walkthrough
[I've divided the game into "parts" to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for. Each time there's a loading screen, I consider that it's a new part. I've added a title to these parts to be sure we're on the same page.]

Part 1 - Sea Port
Follow the path until you face a hill, climb the stairs to the said hill from its left side then just follow the path until you reach the next level.

Part 2 - Forest and Pond
Follow the arches until you see a blue bridge, climb the hill on your right to reach the said bridge. At the end throw a moko in the statue's basket to open the next level.

Part 3 - Gears and Wheels
Throw mokos into hamster wheels to open doors. When you arrive at the huge moving gears, you need to wait for a hole to appear to jump to the next one until you reach the end.

Part 4 - Watchdogs
There's a growl and a red light when a dog spots you which happens when you get too close. When they spot you, they just stop moving but if you get even closer you'll get killed. Follow the arches while being careful not to get spotten by the dogs. There are 4 dogs, one guarding a blue light on the left and 3 guarding the end of the level. Stay close to the left wall next to the arches and run (shift) between the 3 dogs when they each go their separate way. Use a moko to find the path to the building and don't stop ! Once you reach the last path, all the dogs will start running at you.

Part 5 - River and Long-Legged Monsters
Careful for the monsters, stay close to walls when they appear to avoid their legs. Follow the path, then climb stairs on your left after the campfire. You should end up on a balcony with lots of mokos, press the button on the ground in the middle to open the door, careful the door won't stay open long so sprint to it (shift). Cross the bridge and walk on another button, this time it will make pillars appear, you need to jump from one to the other until your reach the top, again you have limited time so be fast.

Part 6 - Stairs
This level is really easy and short. Leave the broken bridge and go on your right, climb the stairs that will lead you to other stairs, then to yet another set of stairs... When you arrive at the top of all those stairs, you'll see a button. Press it to move the gears that block the entrance to the next room. In the room you'll see small pillars with statues on them except for one, pick a moko and throw him on the pillar with nothing on it. Speak to the shadow in the middle of the room to enter the next level.

Part 7 - Frozen Lake
A moko should be leading the way on the lake (sometimes it's buggy), but anyway you should walk slowly and when the ice starts breaking walk around it, the moko only shows you the general direction and not where it's safe to walk. Do this until you reach a rock in the middle of the lake, don't try to climb the higher parts or return to the ice ( it will kill you ), try to find the ice tunnel just in front of the campfire ( your guide moko should be leading you to it ).

Part 8 - Falling rocks
Careful, some rocks fall when you start walking on it. When you don't see a path anymore, try looking under the edge. There's a part where you need to make several jumps while rocks are falling, remember to sprint (shift) to make it easier.

Part 9 - Breathing Shards
You shouldn't get too lost in this one, when you feel like you've reached a dead end close to the beginning, look under the edge for pillars then follow the path until the end.
Collectibles
[I've divided the game into "parts" to make it easier for you to find what you're looking for. Each time there's a loading screen, I consider that it's a new part. I've added a title to these parts to be sure we're on the same page.]

For each part I give the number of lights that can be found, a map and a short video starting from the beginning of the part to show where they are.

Part 1 - Sea Port (5)

Part 2 - Forest and Pond (8)

Part 3 - Gears and Wheels (6)

Part 4 - Watchdogs (6)

When you get close to the end, all the dogs start chasing you. The most simple way is to let them kill you, that way you will reappear next to the end but without the dogs chasing you, less stressful ! Careful not to pass the door or it will close behind you and you won't be able to go back to take the collectibles if you've missed some. Sometimes the dogs are buggy : they stop moving even after you've left or they suddenly stop chasing you at the end.

Part 5 - River and Long-Legged Monsters (6)

Part 6 - Stairs (4)

Part 7 - Frozen Lake (3)

Part 8 - Falling rocks (6)

There are two collectibles that require you to be fast ( the two last ones ). The platforms needed to reach them will break when you get close. Use your sprint (shift) to make it in time ! If you fail, don't worry, just commit suicide and try again.

Part 9 - Breathing Shards (6)

Stop moving when the red spirit talks to you. It's already pretty hard to see anything in this level but when it's all red it's almost impossible.
Achievements
~~~~~
I'M BLIND NOT DEAF
Play through the game with sound and music at 100% volume.
Only the game needs to be at 100%, if it's too loud just reduce your speakers/headphones' volume.
STAY AWHILE AND LISTEN
Stand still for 30 seconds.
I got it just by starting a new game ( maybe I stayed 30secs in the main menu ? )
~~~~~

ECHOMOKOLOCOCATION
Have six or more Mokos following you at once.
You should have this one without even trying. Find a level with lots of mokos (for exemple level 3) and just walk to them until you get 6 following you.

SOCIOPATH
Drown 50 mokos.
Pick up a moko and throw it in the water to drown it. The best place to do this is level 3 ( with the gears and hamster wheels ). There's an arch with a wheel on it just next to the water and the mokos will keep respawning pretty fast because you need them for the wheels.

WHAT, THEY LIKE IT
Throw 1000 mokos.
Just throw mokos. I recommend farming it in level 5 ( with the river and the long-legged monsters ) where you can put the mokos in a small room ( there are several of them in the level ) and throw them without worrying they will bounce too far away.

THE END
Finish the game.

I COULD RUN THAT BLINDFOLDED
Complete the game in under 30 minutes.
I got it even though I took much more time to finish the game. If you already know where to go and skip dialogues it should take you ~25min to finish the game.

GOTTA COLLECT'EM ALL!
Collect all 50 collectibles.
What you're looking for is a little blue orb of light. You need to be a bit close to be able to see them.

They are not really hard to find if you explore a little, so if you feel you're doing something hard to reach someplace, there's probably nothing that way. Mostly check behind or on top of walls and between the path and the edges ( never beyond the edges, you'll just get stuck ). You need to get them all in one game as you'll be forced to reset the game and with it the collectibles when you reach the end.
[See Collectibles for the location of the lights]
