I don't think it's due to this mod in particular, but I am wondering what is causing the issue, and if there is any way to fix it.
Ya, figured it out. Kind of sucks because I had a really nice gen. Now it's back to volcanoes and mountains. xD
Save configuration saves your whole game Set Up including map generation to make a game reproducing template; a game made/loaded from a configuration (template) is not changeable with regards to game play!
First I suggest you get Enhanced Mod Panel (a UI mod).
Then to test out any new game play mod create a new game with the enabled mod mix that you like
After you have verified that the mod mix works for you (you may have to do the remix mods & new game test more than once)
then you set the mod mix that you want and set up a new game and save the configuration
It is important to note - when you load a configuration during set up, you can change any of the exposed settings but you cannot change the (hidden) mod mix. So you can't really 'modify' a configuration, you have to make a 'new' one.
